Let's learn Italian for a year, then meet up in Italy. I know a guy there that can help us out. Astrid can learn and come too.
 
I can be the guide in Italy. I spend several weeks a year in Italy. Have you ever visited Venice?
 
That must be one of the romantic places in the world! I visited several times, and I prefer it in the winter (not so crowdy).
Rome is nice, but very touristic. Siena must be my favourite. Firenze is very touristic to. Milan is about business, design, etc... Naples is dirty and ugly.
