So many take things which are written in the Bible, and apply Them to whatever They wish to apply Them too. That is how so many false teachings begin.
The Bible scriptures are like unto a puzzle; The correct pieces must go into the correct place! By not observing this, the pieces well not work correctly!
I hope this helps.

Good point! I'd love to read this. Where does the Bible talk about this?

Perhaps You do not understand what I am saying ?
The Quran is not just another writing to be junked. It contains much information that is enlightening to the Bible text! If You would read It, without bias, You may find things You had not considered close enough in The Bible !

Perhaps You missed the point of what I say ? I am not any of man's Denominations. That is One of The Big problems with Christianity Today; Denominations. Throw Them out and read the scriptures correctly!
Which book is written to whom in the Bible? If I write to joeJoe, and Sam reads It, should Dam say this is how it is ? ?
IF a scripture is written to the house of Isreal, should One Today take It and apply It to Themselves?
Yet this is exactly what so many Today are doing. That which was written TO ISREAL, FOR ISREAL, IS EXACTLY THAT!
Can people Today learn from Those writings given to Isreal? Certainly. However, They are to be kept in Their proper Time and Place!
For example; How does The Book Of Revelation start?
This is The Revelation Of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries]. God gave It to Him to disclose TO HIS BOND SRVANTS, certain things which must SHORTLY COME TO PASS.
Is 2025 A short Time since Then ?? Are We the Bond Servants of That Time??
Yet people insist on forcing That Writing into Todays Age.

Need I say more?

Brother I’ve been down this road before.
We all have (limited) free will to make some choices here.
When I was looking at Buddhism, Islam and Christianity, it is Christianity that makes sense in terms of culture , history and time in relation to its miracles.
And as you grow in your journey you don’t say “now I know who goes to heaven. I am right and all these people are wrong”.

So to answer your comment earlier, I haven’t read the Koran in detail because the highlights say that according to that book the crucifixion didn’t happen.
Not a good idea to discount personal testimony brother.

In some interpretations of the Koran there’s also this idea that if you don’t speak Arabic you don’t go to heaven. lol
I don’t give this too much thought because this is like minor and different interpretations in Christianity but it is very funny.
I try to focus on the core message.
If you discount personal testimony, you’re not being very serious basically.
