To scone or not to scone

is a scone the same as a biscuit? and is it eaten at KFC??

all of us in the southern hemisphere would like to point out to you lot over the equater that a scone is NOT a biscuit.. a scone is large and round... you eat it with butter or jam and cream! a bicuit is like a cookie... and you do not either either with GRAVY and also! gravy is brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hey hey hey, not all of us in the Northern Hemisphere and cast under this deluded thought process.

Choose the first option or i'll be angry.
 
long live the scone with jam and cream , the biscuit and gravy (never together) !
 
I resent the fact that my view on this subject has to come under the opinions of 'all Aussies' coz Im not Aussie.....KIWI...KIWI....KIWI lol.

I have never had a scone. I have had a donut with jam filling.. I spit it out though
 
Scone's are not to bad.... I have had a BlueBerry scone.. not to bad.......
 
"Scones 'n gravy" loses all the folksy charm of our traditional white gravy dish, sounding more like the name of a buddy detective show from the disco era.

"Scones sets the bait, and Gravy reels 'em in, cuz he's just coo like that. Sucka!"

The only better than white gravy on a biscuit is white gravy on a slab of chicken fried steak.

Ty Sweetie - that pic is a place 1 1/2hrs drive from my home!
I dont really care who wins this voting...I would just like us all to (literally) be together in a kitchen to have a cook off......Pineapple and I (represent Southern and Northern hemispheres) would be the perfect judges to taste test these things!! However, since that is an impossibility...how about you all get recipes (from scratch) of 'scones' 'biscuits' and 'gravy' post em on here and then we can possibly try em to see!!

I completely agree. As long as it's free food....
 
I know there are food out there that I have never had before that matches in certain ways with other food from different parts of this world but I would love too experience all the different kinds of food from all over this world like scones.
