2 Cor. 13:1 records the biblical principle for confirming truth: “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” This teaches that God’s principles are not founded upon isolated statements, but are confirmed through consistent witness and agreement throughout Scripture.

Scripture repeatedly reveals that speaking in tongues occurred immediately when individuals were filled with the Holy Spirit. This pattern is clearly witnessed in Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44–46, and Acts 19:6. Together, these passages establish a consistent biblical testimony concerning the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself declared that tongues would accompany believers (Mk. 16:17), and Isaiah prophetically spoke of God speaking “with stammering lips and another tongue” (Isa. 28:11).

Speaking in tongues and the fruit of the Spirit should not be confused. Speaking in tongues provides the initial evidence of receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit, whereas spiritual fruit provides the enduring evidence that a person is truly indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

Fruit does not automatically appear the moment the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within a believer, but is progressively produced as a born again person matures in Christ. Jesus taught that a tree is known by its fruit (Matt. 7:16–20), and Paul described the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Gal. 5:22–23). Jesus also taught that abiding in Him results in spiritual fruitfulness (John 15:4–5).

Over time, fruit becomes evident throughout the believer’s lifelong journey with the Lord. Paul’s prayer in Phil. 1:9–11 reflects ongoing spiritual growth, and Peter teaches that believers are to continually add spiritual virtues to their faith so they may become fruitful and mature in Christ. (2 Peter 1:5-8)

The initial evidence and the enduring evidence serve different purposes. One confirms the reception of the Holy Spirit, while the other reveals the continuing work of the Spirit within the life of the believer.

I seen a crab apple tree family planted.many year later that tree became a plum tree .I also shall a cherry tree that never yield fruit.
I suppose can use as example of Receiving Holy Spirit with Change to good fruit and No Holy Spirit no fruit.
i will admit I never spoke to the Trees back then, that I know of?
I also seen a man change just by talking to Him As if He was of The Anointed. It just that way actually no effort at all .Normal truth talking as friend Then Anointing did the rest.

Speaking in tongues is not the 'initial evidence' of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Paul asked the Corinthians the question, 'do all speak in tongues?' The answer is, no! So, tongues can't be the 'initial evidence'.
The New Testament speaking in tongues were human languages. What we see today is at best, 'free vocalization' at worse, 'gibberish'.
The New Testament epistles show that Spirit filled life is evidenced by an ethical lifestyle not tongues.

This passage concerns human witnesses. More than one is required because man cannot be trusted. God is not a man that He should lie, and every word from God is true, even if He says it only once.

I would not suggest that anyone discard the clear sayings of Scripture even if only given once.

The Bible is very clear concerning the gifts of the Spirit:

[1Co 12:7-11, 28-30 KJV] 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. ... 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

If you trust your Bible you can’t be deceived.

The manifestation comes from the Holy Spirit and serves different purposes as confirmed by Paul in 1 Cor. 12, 13, and 14.

1. Initial sign of receiving the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:4, 10:43-48, 19:1-7)
2. A form of prayer directed toward God that edifies theindividual. (1 Cor. 14:2, 14-15, Rom. 8:26, Jude 1:20)
3. The spiritual gift of tongues and interpretation operate to edify others in church. (1 Cor. 12:10) Paul's comment pertained to the operation of the spiritual gift of tongues.

The epistles were written to instruct those who were already born again--Those who believed and obeyed God's commands as recorded in Acts 2:4-42, 8:12-18, 10:43:48, 19:1-7.

Agreed. We can trust what the word of God reveals:

The manifestation comes from the Holy Spirit and serves different purposes as confirmed by Paul in 1 Cor. 12, 13, and 14.

You may also notice that the Apostles wrote to those whom may have thought themselves born again but were not. Much was said about how to realize whether or not your regeneration was real.

Much love!

So the 7 eye spirit is limited ?now explain that ,then add .was is shown That without the 7fold Spirit there is no fruit. The Holy Spirit has all 7 you have all if? The Holy Spirit is in you
we want fruit on demand just like fig tree in or out season. Problem is The Holy Spirit is shut down by man mind spirit
Can He The Spirit of The God operate in full sight? No the man minded will is not of Him

I know this by the Holy but didn't know this as written.
2 Corinthians 3:3
"Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the Epistle of Christ Anointing ministered by us, Paul written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.".

The church in Corinth is the ultimate proof that gifts and fruit are separate. Paul tells them they are highly gifted: "ye come behind in no gift" (1 Corinthians 1:7). However, because they lacked the fruit of love, peace, and gentleness, he also calls them immature and worldly: "
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ"
