Tornado Devastation in the South

Please remember and pray for my family and friends and everyone else in my hometown of Ringgold, GA. Ringgold was almost wiped off the map by a tornado Wednesday April 27, 2011. There are really no words to describe the damage and devastation that this town is seeing. So far there have been 8 people killed by this storm, PLEASE pray that there are no more. Thank you all and may God bless.

I saw Reed Timmer in my neighborhood today. He's speaking at a memorial service Sunday at one of the churches. His team was the first to get to the wreckage of the tornado from April 24, 2010, a 5-mile wide cat 5 one that ripped apart suburbs. Many of my friends lost their homes and neighbors. Seeing his vehicle parked down the road from my house was a comforting sight. The storm that occurred this week did more damage than the one in this video. In some places, not even trees remain.

For sure...Ringgold isn't that far from where I am,and they said it was headed straight here...but then it took a literal last split second/minute turn and went south of us. I was terrified,but prayed,and we were at our neighbors so we could have gotten in her basement if need be. Between 8 and 9 AM that day, there was a tornado here,but it didn't reach us...it did some bad damage. God kept us safe though,however sadly,one person was killed here in that tornado. Lets pray for ALL no matter where they may be.
 
Thank you guys!!! Yes let's pray for everyone especially everyone who was in the path of those storms this week. There was a total of (I believe they said) 300 tornados from the mid-west to the east coast so far this year. 150 of them were just in Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia. So far total in the South alone there are a reported 290 deaths due to these storms and over 500 people still missing. Let's pray all these people are found, safe and pray for the ones who have lost someone. Also I do want to Thank God though, the tornado in Ringgold came very, very close to my ex-husband's house. We have a 8 year old daughter and I am very thankful she still has her daddy, she's a major daddy's girl :).
 
I know it is easy for me to say because the area I live in Alabama was not effected by the recent tornados. I really do wish those who were effected can seek redemption and can get back on their feet. May God bless them all!:)
 
Dear Lord Jesus, please keep our Brothers and Sisters from harm in areas of trouble, and comfort those who have lost loved ones, in Jesus name, Amen.
