Case was brought when a Maine school district forced the student to use a staff restroom

A court in Maine awarded the family of a transgender teenager $75,000 in a discrimination lawsuit against a school district that forced the student to use a staff restroom rather than a facility reserved for pupils, reports the Associated Press.

Nicole Maines, 17, had won her lawsuit against the Orono school district earlier this year in front of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, which ruled that the school district had violated the state’s Human Rights Act.

The case marked the first time a state’s highest court ruled that a transgender person has the right to use the restroom of the gender with which they identify.

School district tried to do the right thing by protecting the transgender student. If these transgender students enter the boy's room, especially in the inner schools, look for some vicious assaults. Some of these inner city school girls are rougher than their counterparts and will also beat the crap out of a TA boy posing as a girl. It has already happened at a McDonald's in MD.

It is highly unlikely that these TA will enter the boy's room but will enter the girl's room instead.

This reminds me of an incident that happened close to where I live. A transgendered man wanted to use the women's change room however the women didn't feel comfortable. So the gym owner offered to build a special change area JUST for this person, but he didn't like that so he took the gym owner to our "human rights" court. The gym owner had to pay all the costs of just going. Ugh, it was ridiculous.
 
From now on, whenever I'm out in public,
I'm just going to use whichever bathroom is available first.

If someone tries to stop me I'm just going to say,
"I might look like a big hairy man to YOU...
but on the inside I'm a little princess."

You can't 'transform' a guy into girl using surgery, you can only create the outward (false) appearance of a girl. The result is a freak, not a girl. I'm of the opinion that 'transgenders' need shrinks, not surgeons.

Btw what guy wants to use the ladies' room anyway. For some reason there's always a line in front of it.

What really bothers me, is that if you use the ladies' restroom you have to take all your friends.
 
What if u were in the washroom and a transgendered person came in? What would u say of would u say anything?

I'm not a teenager, I'm an adult.

If a male brandished his manhood in the ladies' washroom, I would merely let my authorized concealed handgun become a revealed handgun until he left the washroom, and would then report him to Security.

I'm considering walking into a ladies room and then turn around to sue because there were no urinals.

This was funny.. but seriously, this shouldn't be women, girls, and children's problem because someone is confused.. Only in 2014... Smh

All of sudden, it seems doubled and tripled the problem though...before the last five years this stuff was isolated and wasn't " in your face " type of deal... Before, they just wanted to live and be left alone, now lawsuits ? ... Com'on
