To me bottom line, anytime a simple minded human tries to "quantify" what Yahweh is they will fail, we can not put Him in a shoebox with a piece of tape with some words written in magic marker. He is beyond any human understanding, period.

1 John 5:20
And we know that The Son of God has come and he has given us a mind to know The True One and to be in The True One- in his Son, Yeshua The Messiah. This One is The True God and The Life Eternal.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

1 John 1:2
The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

all John's writings reveal Jesus as GOD.

True god is ONE! Even Satan knows that. What is Jesus then? Jesus is God! Emmanuel is what the prophets spoke. Jesus is Emmanual... Meaning GOD WITH US! Ity is actually so easy to know and understand...

God is Spirit, God says so Himself. And Jesus was a Man with the Spirit of God in Him... So he is God in the flesh. Now if you ever wonder what would a man act like if he has the Spirit of God in Him, look no further... JESUS is the proof! Did Jesus always have this flesh body that He (God) occupied while He was here on earth? NO! No flesh can hold the full glory of God! It can only hold the same glory Jesus had. (John 17)

Now here is the thing.... Jesus says to Father.... Father the time is come, GLORIFY ME WITH THE GLORY I HAD BEFORE THE EARTH WAS MADE.... See! Jesus had MORE GLORY in heaven that here, but He says... The Glory thou hast given me, I have given them.... AHA! So everyone that Jesus gives HIS GLORY AS JESUS too, are made in the NEW IMAGE of JESUS IN MAN!

And that is EXACTLY why god sent Jesus... So we can be made like HIM! And have NO doubt of how Holy and Perfect that is. God says... the NEW CREATURE in Christ is ALL new. The OLD has PASSED... aha! Of course what of God was the OLD? Nothing. That is why he makes it ALL NEW IN CHRIST... and Christ is ALL in the NEW! Perfect like our Father in heaven is perfect!

Jesus said it clearly.. John 10:30... I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE! And God and all His people ARE ONE. God says Edified in the Body of Christ. Unity of Faith... ONe soul One Spirit, One Father, One God, One Faith, One heart, One tongue. and ONE BODY FITLY put together, with no flaws, no wrinkle and no spot... PERFECTLY ONE!

If you do not believe this, read 1 John 3 and John 17.... These two chapters take hand and show the ONE-NESS of God's SEED and HIMSELF...

i believe the Bible.

Matthew 3

16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He[a] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 4

6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

John 10

24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

The Spirit without measure.

John 3

31He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Trinity is not biblical...There is no trinity. Trinity only exist in the mind of the carnal mind of man and his private false interpretation of scriptures.

Maybe you should just stick to herding cows, because you sure are well off the beam on (this) theology anyway! :p

Texascowgirl: It depends what version of the bible you read. The Bible is a huge mystery and will be somewhat difficult to understand to us, and always will be till the day Jesus comes back. And just because it literally don't say certain words in the bible about something, it don't mean it isn't there but explained differently. I don't want to get into these debates, that could turn nasty for many people. However there is a quote in the KJV of the bible that goes like this. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the
Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)

Just because the word trinity isn't there, does not mean it does not exist, we just happen to give it a name as such. I don't believe there is an account of preaching against the triune Godhead as heresy, but the post author seems to come up with it

Jesus is God
The Father is God
The Spirit is God

There is one God who exists as three distinct persons.

When will you submit to God? When will you repent of your wickedness and vile rebellion against God? You feel the conviction but you refuse to heed it.

when you are led by the spirit and take on the mind of Christ you might be surprised to find yourself suddenly part of much larger things. imagine you are a cell in a body with all the other cells, oblivious to the body. one day you become aware of the body. cells,body,brain- Spirit,Jesus,God. the Spirit is in all of creation. working in the body of Christ. trying to bring everyone to God. the only ones who deny the trinity are the ones who have yet to experience their part in it.

i'm sure people will disagree with my simple example, so i have good news to those that do. you don't have to be taught this by me or other people. you can go right to the teacher and learn your lessons. today. confess and repent of your sins. ask Jesus for help. be led by the Spirit and experience the bible. would you rather have knowledge of the bible or experience the bible?

all i have to say to this is LOL The Trinity is real, texascowgirl is a false teacher twisting scripture to her views. I feel sorry for this thread..

I feel like the trinity is very confusing. I do not find it obvious that the bible in any way teaches this concept, but I don't like to argue so good luck trying to come to a nice conclusion. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree.

The Holy Spirit is justice. Thanks for labeling these heretics as BANNED members. They are here to defile the unity of this website. Unfortunately for them because their effort wouldn't work out.

Jesus is God, and as God exists eternally from everlasting to everlasting. I would hope you would not throw yourself in with a Jehovah Witness. Surely you know better than to join a cult.
Jimmy, please please read scripture and go in prayer about this habit of yours of throwing out digs. This one isn't bad, but some of them just make us all look bad when we are trying to reason and talk.

My neighbor also thinks that the scripture in John 14:28 means that the Father is greater than the son, but without reading what that dialogue was about. Christ hadn't gone to the cross, yet, and Christ was talking to another Judas, not Iscariot, about His going to the cross. He was explaining that it was a good thing and why. I hate the idea of copying a bunch of scripture for bible readers, but here is the entire conversation.

John 22:28 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it You're going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?"

Jesus answered, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

The one who doesn't love Me will not keep My words. The word that you hear is not Mine but is from the Father who sent Me.

"I have spoken these things to you while I remain with you.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit--the Father will send Him in My name--will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.

"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.

You have heard Me tell you, 'I am going away and I am coming to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

Christ was still part man, so at that time the Father was greater. My neighbor believes this means that Christ is not "on the right hand side of God" as He says, and when I explain she just shrugs and says "just read your bible". It is so imbedded in her mind by some church she belongs to that she won't listen to a word that is different. It is her choice!!!

There are certain things I cannot say that only God can say. For instance. "I created the universe". That phrase can only be said by God only, right? Surely I can't hold claim to that. Well, let's look at this reference.

Rev 1:16-17

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

So, who is this speaking? It must be God, right? Only God can say that highlighted in red. Nobody else is authorized to say such a thing for if they did, it would be blasphemy. Let's read on.

Rev 1:18

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Who died? Who is alive for evermore? Is it God? No? It's Jesus. He is the one who died and was raised alive for evermore. Jesus said that He Himself is the first and the last! That statement is a God statement and therefore, Jesus is the second part of the trinity and is also God. And about that part that Jesus determines whether or not you go to heaven or hell, well, that's His job too.

The correct (and best terminology I know of) is to say God IN three persons, (God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) and not God IS three persons. God AND Jesus are in me. Two distinct entities that are one. The Holy spirit is me. Or to be correct, the soul within me. That triunity makes me one with God, the Father and Jesus.

So, Jesus is God.

To deny the Trinity is to align yourself with Satan,.. May God grant whoever is in disbelief sincere repentance and have mercy on their souls,..

1. Those with Catholic backgrounds or any such affiliation, they were taught a belief in a trinity and all that goes with it.

2. Many Christian believers from other churches within the faith where never taught to believe in, nor adhere to a trinity. Therefore all forms of a trinity mean nothing to them, and are overwhelmingly rejected.

3. Those of completely different religions do not believe in, nor adhere to a trinity within, nor out outside of their respective religions.

We non-trinitarians adhere to the Shema within the Jewish prayer book...
"Hear, O Israel the Lord your God is One."
Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21, and Numbers 15:37-41.
Which is still recited a number of times each day throughout Israel.
Let us all just love love love, regardless.
