Nobody has said you are wrong,.. The Trinity is a concept found in Scripture, not a word. I don't know if anyone who claims the word itself is there,..

"The trinity" is a man-made concept, not a Biblical one - something added by the Catholics and unfortunately still held to by many Protestants as well.
You can deny the concept of "the trinity" without denying any of the core concepts of the Gospel - the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the truth of His Sacrifice, and His power to save us. It is these that define Christianity, not "the trinity" or any other man-made theological concept.

Col. 1:14-19, states that, God is invisible and Christ is the visible image of God and by Christ everything was made. It says Christ was before all things and by Him all things consist. Hebrews 1:1 states He created everything that has been created. Isaiah states, He is Mighty God, Wonderful, Governor, Prince of Peace, Counselor etc. Christ states he knew Abraham. Sounds like what, the Bible call the Godhead to me. Trinity or Godhead (same thing).

Most of the times when someone wants to attack Christian belief he always say that it was made by the Catholics. Protestants cannot take the concepts of the Roman Catholic church. If a protestant church believe in what RCC also believe in does not mean that it has learned from RCC.
trinity is a Biblical concept that recognize the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit asa Godhead as evidenced by the scriptures.
They do all the time. Everything from the purgatory and layers of Hell, to the doctrine of Original Sin, to the very idea of the "mystery of the trinity" are all first found in Catholic documents hundreds of years after the Bible, and all maintained by at least some Protestant groups.
One can recognize the Divinity of Christ without accepting the doctrine of the trinity, which again has a lot of theological baggage that is introduced by scholars and not found in the Bible.

Now just a minute Cobus...did you know that in the original manuscripts you cannot find the name "Jesus" pertaining to The Messiah...the name Jesus Christ was added!...and what about The Name of God Himself?.....that was taken out and replaced with just "God".....

I just spent 3 hrs. reading and praying over this tread. Again I have to say, there is so much "shallow", "partial", teaching on trinity ,and all of Christian doctrines, it is a no wonder that churches are so divided. I will not, and don't believe, fully, what most Christians teach today. I have had to prove, for myself, all the doctrines of the Bible. I use the picture of the EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE. as do, jimmydiggs and Bowman do, to represent God. This is great, it explain ,in human words, the teaching of the GODHEAD of the BIBLE. I don't think anyone should be banned except in "immoral" situations. We all have and can live with irritating words, and forgive and forget. I would like to give a "good, complete" presentation of the Trinity in the Bible. I had to "question" peoples' presentation of the Trinity for years; Until I could see the whole teach on it in the Bible. I will try to go through the whole Bible. DON'T worry, It would take long. Just the key passages will make the Trinity clear. Again, I recommend you look all the Systematic Theology books you can find and read up on the TRINITY. Keep in mind the Bible was written in a PROGRESSIVE manner. A little here, at little there, and in very dark saying at times, because God's purpose is to REVEAL truth and HIDE truth at the same time. Biblical Theology is the slow process of God reveling Himself to Mankind. Exodus 3"14 "And God said to Moses,'I AM who I AM.' Thus you shall say to the children of Israel,'I AM has sent me to you.' Oh boy so we left he bible version debates and moved onto the trinity vs oneness debates. I saw some anti-pauline ones starting up too. Its like the seasons of bible discussion.

One of the very first things one learns when dealing with a Witness is this: always question the source being cited from. Notice the ellipses ("...") here, which are often found throughout Watchtower literature, and are more times than not, a sign of omission. This example bares no exception. Between the first ellipses is the omission of just over 120 words. And those 120+ words will ensure you that the citation will be quickly abandoned by our local JW.
