Acorn is Not a Hoax. You're funny for suggesting it is a hoax........

I worked face to face with Acorn program. I know all about them. LOL  They are also responsible for the many many foreclosed homes we keep seeing. They were directly involved in preditory lending and sub prime loans. hummmmm a hoax...yea right! Voter fraud is only a small portion of all the other things they have done.

Well, I wasn't going to do this, but since you're pushing the matter....

CLICK THIS LINK to read about it

Yes, it was a hoax, this is the background information about how it started, why, the evidence for the hoax, the smoking guns, etc. If you don't believe wikipedia, there are plenty more sources you can check.

I'm not sure how they could be "responsible" for home foreclosures, since they don't lend money.

And yes, just because it's a hoax doesn't mean they don't still have a stigma, because there are still idiots out there who don't believe it's a hoax, despite the evidence. There are still people who think Obama wasn't born in the US, despite the evidence, and that's a far simpler hoax to debunk.

Now, being misinformed is not a sin. I understand that the mainstream media has not been nearly as vocal about this evidence debunking the scandal as it was in publicizing the faked scandal in the first place, so not being aware that it had been debunked is nothing to be ashamed of nor to feel guilty about.

However, lying about working with Acorn (which, if you had, you would have known about this debunking), and implying that you have additional information that you absolutely do not have, well, lying is a sin.

I am guilty of many sins, and for them I confess to God. When I commit a sin against a sister or brother in these boards, I do apologize and seek forgiveness from the person against whom I sinned, publicly. That's all I'm going to say on this matter.

#1 since you are so inclined to find sources on the internet I suggest you educate yourself with Home Loans and The Acorn program.
Has your narrow mind led you to believe Acorn only registered voters? ....... that make me laugh too. Educating yourself on the internet is stereotypical for those who are taken advantage of, and then wondering what happened and them blame everyone else. hummm

#2 I never implied to have additional imformation about anything. = Get your FACTS straight.

3# Suggesting I have sinned and THEN calling me a liar and an idot. hummmm grade school mentality.... when someone tries to bully me by saying I am a liar and this and that.... I always consider the source.. and laugh. Out of the heart the mouth speaks...........Fruit of the spirit explains who you serve.

The only confession I will be making is not feeling sorry for those who are misled , uneducated , lazy, unruley, law breaking thugs, and those who are always looking for an easy way out claiming its a violation of their self pity rights and those who believe they are owed something for nothing and expecting me to pay for it. (taxes)

And furthermore I never said I worked FOR Acorn. I would not stoop the level of working for these Loosers. I have utilized their services(not by choice) but was mandated by Bank of America in attempt to help the low income people purchase a home. Working WITH and WORKING FOR are NOT the same. I have attended many of their scheming seminars .. I know all about them and NOT from reading about them on the internet.

.... debating facts with the mind of 1st grader is less than entertaining......

NEWS FLASH- Obama is NOT God, and he has no intentions of saving you from yourself, neither do I. Reap and sow...........sow and reap.

#1 since you are so inclined to find sources on the internet ...
Nice of you to assume that. I actually don't prefer the internet for my personal research, but on forums such as this one, when there are other people to show, it is convenient, because one can provide a link. I could refer to a non-internet site: quote an Acorn board member, for example, or provide some other resource, but then how would you (or anyone else) be able to check to see what that source was, let alone if it was valid? With the internet, you click the link, and there it is. Wikipedia is not 100% accurate, but the nice thing about it is it does provide its sources, so you can go and check the primary sources, if you don't believe what you are reading. And a good researcher will do that. I often do.

I suggest you educate yourself with Home Loans and The Acorn program.
Thank you, I am familiar with home loans. I don't know what would make you think I am not. We were not talking about home loans. But if you like, I could provide you with some excellent references. There are a few sites online that could provide a person with information, though one would be better off taking a class or something. Online is not the sort of place for such, because the information out there is contradictory.

As for Acorn, I was familiar with their activities since before you were born. I actually volunteered for them about 20 years ago, for a summer.

Has your narrow mind led you to believe Acorn only registered voters?
Nowhere did I say or even imply that, and I haven't the slightest idea where you would get such a crazy idea. It seems to me that a person who is assuming things based on absolutely zero evidence would be more likely to have a narrow mind. But then, like I said, even a narrow mind usually has some reason to come to its conclusion, and I have no clue where you came up with this and other of your assumptions, so I'm not convinced that's the situation here. You seem to like to make things up entirely out of your imagination and then run with them. Not sure why, or what good it does anyone.

....... that make me laugh too.
Well, I'm glad your fantasies provide you with some entertainment value.

Educating yourself on the internet is stereotypical for those who are taken advantage of, and then wondering what happened and them blame everyone else. hummm
I would agree with that statement. That's probably why for personal research I try to avoid the internet. I may start there, look at the reference material in a wikipedia article, for example, that will give me a direction of where to look in the non-cyber world. But even that is rare.

But what this has to do with anything I have said, I have no idea. Once again, you've pulled this idea out of thin air, and seem to want to apply it to me out of sheer will. Are you trying to make yourself look bad? The fact that others "like" these comments concerns me, because your wild machinations appear to be making sense to others, despite their utter fiction.

#2 I never implied to have additional imformation about anything. = Get your FACTS straight.
Ummmm ... Did you not accuse Acorn of committing fraud?

The FACTS are this: Acorn was set up and framed by two Republican congressmen. No actual fraud took place. A video was doctored to give the appearance that Acorn was committing fraud. That doctored video was widely released, and Acorn has not recovered from the damage that has been done from that.

Here are some statements you have made:
Obama said that ACORN “deserves to be investigated,” but did not endorse recent votes in Congress to cut off ACORN’s federal funding
I know all about them. LOL They are also responsible for the many many foreclosed homes we keep seeing. They were directly involved in preditory lending and sub prime loans.
Here's your choice: you can retract those statements (apologize for saying them), or admit that you said them. To stand by them and then claim you never said them is just insane.

3# Suggesting I have sinned and THEN calling me a liar and an idot.
Telling lies is a sin. I said that then, I say it again now. I stand by that statement.

I don't know what an idot is, and I am reasonably sure I never called you or anyone else an "idot," since I don't even know what it means.

And furthermore I never said I worked FOR Acorn.
If you look at what I wrote, I said you worked WITH them, not FOR them. I know there is a difference, and I was careful to retain the working you used, when you said:
I worked face to face with Acorn
So, did you work "with" them or did you not work "with" them?

If you did, then that is what I said, and I will not apologize for being correct. You could apologize for twisting my words. (I doubt you will, but you could.)

If you did not, then you could admit to lying. Again I doubt you will.

Well True the Vote was founded by some republican lobbyists in Texas. It did not start out as some ground level civics lesson. The ONLY intention of True the Vote was to lower the number of democratic voters. They never had the noblest intentions to begin with. All they had was a name they cooked up that sounded noble and proceeded to do their work incognito, hiding behind a facade of correcting "a great injustice" that was invented out of whole cloth by another republican lobbyist.

All of their volunteers are "true believers" people who simply do not question those leaders they follow, have no natural curiosity about things, and are dedicated to keeping the republicans in positions if power as long as possible regardless of what those leaders might be or do.
