Sounds good but who will pick up the tab? Research takes years and is expensive. I agree drug prices are high but a lot are generic and reasonably priced.

As a general statement i would say that : Trump will figure it out. He usually does.

A discussion about this topic though it's usually a long one which involves principles such as free market, the reality of the situation which doesn't match the free market (as we saw in the financial bailout of 2008) and the potential to helping your own citizens to get the best healthcare for a low price or even 'free' since we know that USA has so much money (as recently shown by DOGE) to spend on useless projects worldwide, which could be spent here at home to improve the infrastructure, health and education.

As a retired geezer free healthcare would be great. But people working and footing the bill might feel otherwise. Thats the problem with free healthcare. The healthy that dont need it pay for those who do.

1. large-scale troop deployments to a border region, -- We saw this prior to Russia invading Ukraine. We see this now with the US deploying more troops and assets to the Middle East.

2. increased military activity in the area, -- We see this in the Taiwan straight, we see this in Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine, we see this in the Middle East.

3. suspicious financial activity, -- We see this with the price of gold spiking.

4. a surge in stockpiling essential supplies, -- We have seen this with multiple times the government has said certain food was not able to be sold. Much of that was seized by the government.

5. and suspension of key exports. -- And now you can see how Trump's tariffs fit into a pattern of the start of WW3

These indicators suggest an aggressor is preparing for an invasion.

Maybe you can help me out. The drug companies do the research and foot the bill......Risk and reward type of thing.

But it is such a rabbit hole anymore with the government involved.

I wish we could go back to private everything. Consumers can bankrupt the corrupt. Entrepreneurs can compete for the open spot.

Get the Government involved...........We are basically hogtied.
