People seeking office are mostly funded by the corporations and once they attain office they are beholden to those corporate interests and this accounts for government corruption.
America is entering a late stage capitalism, with more monopolies and less competition, in fact there are perhaps three or four companies which own most other large companies and over time there will continue to be fewer and fewer mid-size to small business.

It goes deeper than just Trump. The marxist idealogy is at stake. Communism vs. conservatism. If the people have truly awakened the left is finished. But we all know that sooner or later its all coming to a one world government with just a few in charge. Its why the left loves the U.N.
