...honesty trumps all those because IF you are honest with someone then they do not need to trust you. I had 4 good relationships, friendships, with guy friends growing up, didn't spend time with girls much at all, and, we were all TRUSTING of each other.
And, NO, I am not gay. Just not married

Ever

Happy, sad, just not sure what it makes me, exept I am still (and may always be, the Lord leads) single and with God in control it's
But, yes, I really think the TRUST word, miladies and notmydudes (oh, OK, you can be my dudes

) , that TRUST overrides those other things to go for WANTING first. You have to put things in perspective as, of course, you have to communicate in a relationship, and, be trusting, and, be faithful, but, for me, TRUST is the key.
I do TRUST in God with all my heart, but, IF I am being honest--and, I am, as I always try to be on here--I being honest with God makes my TRUSTING Him a whole lot easier
God bless you all, my Christ peeps !!
Maybe someone can find some 'honest' words in the bible, I know 'trust,' is in there, including one of my fave 'The Lord leads' verses, Proverbs 3:5 .
I got mixedsies up, sorry, HONESTY, is my caps word, that mix up of words is the PURE FAULT of my green brains. Honest
Honesty trumps all in a relationship, of qualities, I think.
And, yes, of course, God the center of relationship is FIRST, but, just speaking of qualities of a good relationship, trust faithfulness, communication are intrical parts of relationship boyfriend/girlfriend but HONESTY, imo, is the glueing factor for those three R, T, F qualities.
My friends were guys but I don't want to say I didn't have girl friends , I did, as with a 1.5 year younger sister I was definitely around my share of girls. I just wasn't a dater of them, the Lord leads, He led. But, back, to my main point, and, I had 4 good friends growing up and I just remember being honest with them always. First friend met at age 5 I'm still real good friends with, was best man, and he has wife and two young teenage boys. Other 3 not kept in touch with but did many treehouse, motorcycle riding, sports playing with them growing up. A 5th friend I was strong with was all through college after freshman year and 5 years after that, culminating in my traveling 2500 miles to see him.get married. He and wife in Mali, missionaries with kids but didn't keep in touch after went Africa. Hey, yeah, nice to have, but I'm not perfect, just greenNnice

The Lord leads, but, yes.....
.....honesty. I can't remember ANY dishonest moments with any of my 5 friends. Trust was never even a figment of my imagination and all my buddies and I talked a lot so communication was not a big deal. And faithfulness was there, too, I was tight with these buddies, age of doing things together:
1st friend met -- age 5 to present
2nd friend met --.age 7 to 23
3rd friend met -- age 9 to 25
4th friend met -- age 14 to 18
5th friend (college roommate 3.5 years) -- 19 to 25
I say this to explain that honesty works.
I didn't think to much about it, but those applying for summer jobs , it is a good idea to mention your relationships with your friends.
I know the DYNAMIC of honesty changes with opposite sex relationships, but, still, remember, I've played plenty board games with my sister but we fought but were close too, growing up, not withstanding our parents slow break up that caused problems with us and started when I was 12 and she was 10. .
So, just saying, I know a little about girls and still to this day visit my sister a lot, who has 3 kids and a significant other and is very blessed, lives on lake near ocean.
My sister and I were not as honest with each other when parents started to break up.and jealousy and fighting, and, yes, dishonesty crept in to our relationship for several years.
