Why is trust so easily broken ?

And why is trust so hard to earn ?

I met this awesome lady - but because one man broke her trust in "mankind" - :(

Now I'm the one who feel is it worth it ? I don't want to quit - but without forcing the issue - how long is right before i can ask for a relationship ?

Maybe what I'm asking - where is the girls - help me understand ??
 
Your wording is difficult to understand and i feel as though you're not explaining yourself well on top of this. So i'm going to make some guesses.
Are you saying she was recently broken up with, and is now hurting from it and you want to ask her out but think shes not ready? And you want to know how long you should wait?
Or was she hurt a long time ago and has never recovered?

Please explain yourself better. Lines like 'i met this awesome lady - but because one man broke her trust in mankind' doesn't really give enough details or explain much of anything. Its like you keep saying half the sentence then stop.
