There is something we can do to turn the tide a bit on where "freedom" is taking many free countries. This will work in the US, the UK, Canada, Down Under, and any other "free society," where "free" has simply come to mean having the God-hating agenda rammed down our throats.
Both business and government simply listens to the most annoying voice. Ten people can be standing in a circle, and no matter what else happens, the conversation will always, always hinge on the one who annoys the most. Squeaky wheels get greased.
So, what have we done? We're polite people, so if someone else is talking, we shut up. We have as believers. We have for most of my adult life. See what's become of that? The squeaky wheel is oozing by now.
All we have to do is squeak. Squeak! Write letters, send e-mails, make phone calls, rinse and repeat. What happens if we do that? Big business listens because too many don't respond if they do something wrong, which they feel is the license to keep doing that. If they aren't losing money, why worry about it? BUT, if people merely tell them they are annoyed, then they listen for fear of losing money.
Our elected officials have one goal in mind -- to get reelected. So what do they do? Listen to those who have their finger on the voting button. Squeak! Write letters, send e-mails, make phone calls, rinse and repeat.
Same deal with the media. The ones behind the reporters -- the bosses and those trying to get advertisers to buy space. That's what media is really about -- profits.
Would this stop the homosexual agenda? Of course not, but it powers down their voice box! Who do you think is paying for that agenda, because I can guarantee 4% of the population doesn't have that kind of money to sue over and over again. Slow them down on the indoctrination, let big business know a bigger percentage of consumers hate the agenda than loves it, let the school system know we will not let them indoctrinate our children at will, let elected officials know they might well have to make an honest living if they don't listen, and that 80% of Americans that really don't care one way or another will come around to not caring on a more positive base. (Honestly? Do you really think 40% changed their minds on the homosexual issue simply because the President did? Do you honestly think the President did change his mind, or did he just want to get reelected and read the polls well?)
And, btw, I disagree with that. If men do nothing, exactly how can we consider them good?
So, that said... got a problem with this idea?
