Im working on having a more alkaline diet. I tested my well water and it was alkaline 7.6 and maybe higher since that is as high as the scale went that I tested it with. So drinking more water is definitely going to be something Im going to do. Cutting out caffeine eventually also. Juicing green vegetables and other vegetables. Apples are a healthy treat. Meat is acidic and bread, pasta, sugar, and starchy foods.
Im looking to cut inflammation and so save my joints as I have much more time to work before retirement. All my joints were extremely sore after all the winter shovelling. I could hardly move and had to take painkillers.
Also along with eating alkaline and drinking alkaline, I want to take turmeric capsules. It would be cheaper and easier to buy the stuff in bulk and make my own filled capsules. No idea where to get the capsule making machine in Canada.
Anybody know? The price is too high with shipping to buy from the U.S.A. The turmeric is as good or better than Tylenol for the pain of arthritis, both kinds of arthritis. It cuts inflammation and is not hard on the stomach like ibuprophen can be. Some people make a tea with it, but I wouldn't drink it. Capsules are my best bet.
