Please forgive me "Health&Happiness"

I should NOT have come down on you personally, as I did.. Jesus says, (Love the sinner, Hate the sin.) I should have ONLY exposed the un-Truth, in your false understandings.

That was my hypocrisy and self-righteousness raising it's ugly head. Jesus would not have responded the way I did, and I'm ALL about presenting Christ & His Righteousness, rather than my "filthy rag" self-righteousness. I'm still under the Law and a sinner, as long as I live according to MY selfishness, rather than Christ's Righteousness. Romans 7

The theme of this CC thread is Repentance. I repent of my hypocrisy & selfishness ( self-righteousness )
I've asked God to forgive me for my selfishness (sin) and asked Him to give me greater repentance, = "turning away" ( a free gift, to those who earnestly ask)

I'm confident and have faith that He will grant me His Righteousness ( His Right Doing) , unto my sanctification, to become a "Child of God" a True "follower" and chosen, "judged" to inherit eternity with Christ.. ** Thank You Jesus !! ** ~~~~~~ Do YOU forgive me, HealthAndHappiness ? ~~~~~~~

NOW!:) Referring to your above statement; "a false/ unbiblical response ... for example, "committing your life to Christ." & "What we don't know is what that actually means."

Let me enlighten you to what the Bible "means" by "committing your life to Christ" ( which is what I try to do daily, following Christ) James 2:8, Matt 19:19, Lev 19:18, Exo 23:4-8, Mark 12:30,32 Matt 7:12, Gal 5:14, Matt 22:27-40, Exodus 20: 2-17
= ( obedience to LOVE)

Living Sacrifice Bible Verses (AI assisted, here below)

The Bible verse that calls believers to give themselves as a living sacrifice is Romans 12, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

This concept of a living sacrifice emphasizes offering oneself fully to God, not as a physical offering on an altar, but as a continuous act of devotion and commitment. It involves denying oneself and aligning one's actions with God's will, rather than conforming to the world's standards. We are called, by Matt 28:18-20, to be disciples, which is central to the Christian life and that all believers are called to engage in the mission of making disciples, baptizing, and teaching others to obey the commands of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Total Surrender of Will
Romans 12:1-2 – "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will." (surrendering our will to God’s perfect Will.)

Following Christ’s Example
1 Peter 2:21 – "To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps." (directly points to the example of Christ as the pattern for Christians to follow.)

Abiding in Christ
John 15:4-5 – "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches."
(Abiding in Christ is central to living a life that reflects Him. (staying connected to Christ to bear fruit.)( doing the righteous work, that Christ did. ) As I try and struggle (against sin) to follow Christ, in HIS Righteousness. ( being His disciple ) Matt 28:18-20

Bearing Fruit for His Kingdom
John 15:8 – "This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples."
( This verse emphasizes the fruit-bearing life as the natural outcome of true commitment to Christ, as we reflect His character and mission in the world.)

Do you see how these bible verses are counter intuitive to the "Once Saved Always Saved" , AND the "disobedience IS permissible" doctrines = un-Biblical, heretical beliefs, system ? ( = the spirit of anti-Christ / spirit of Satan )

So where do you seperate daily service from eternal salvation?

They are not the same thing and one is not dependent on the other.

So where do you seperate daily service from eternal salvation?

They are not the same thing and one is not dependent on the other.
A quick answer ~~> One is the evidence of the other.

Our daily service ( fruits) will show "evidence" of our eligibility, qualification, for eternal salvation, as determined by being in and by Jesus, Gal 2:20 Jesus advocating between Satan's accusations of our sin, and the Ark of the Covenant, ( Mercy seat & The Law ) in the Heavenly Sanctuary, RIGHT NOW ( Dan 8:14 - since the end of the 2300 yr time prophecy at 1844 ) determining whether we are "good and faithful" servants, deserving ""eternal salvation" OR NOT. (Heaven or Hell) Daily service AND eternal salvation, are inexplicably related. One is the evidence of the other.

IF we repent of our sin, are baptized, washed of our sins in the blood of Jesus, being born again, adopting the sinless character of Christ, as a new creature, IN CHRIST, (sinless = the Righteous Character of Christ, as THE TRUTH presented in His Word, (we walking through life ( how we act = fruits) , by HIS WAY,, will be seen by the world as "our fruits of the Spirit" = "daily service" =
Matt 22:37,38, 1 Cor 13, ETC,

Our "Daily service" = our fruits, our LOVE = The Nature of Jesus, OUR GOD, will show the Father and the world, Matt 22: 37,38 that we have forsaken sin, the world, walking in the Spirit, rather than the flesh, James 4:4 doing the Will of the Father and when Jesus returns here SOON, after he has pleaded our case, against Satan's accusations, before the Father, Jesus our advocate, ...
=> the Court of Judgement
~~ I PRAY, Jesus finds "our characters" = ( daily service )
... representing HIS Righteousness, and HE will say, ;

"His lord said to him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord." Matt 25:21 The parable of the talents, where "the joy of your Lord" is our "eternal salvation".
RATHER THAN; ~~> Matt 7:16, Matt 7:21-23

I simply say, thank you Lord, you did it for me to believe and be new in love and mercy to all, not a few as I did at my first birth, that can't Do it. I know I tried under Law, and saw I need Father and Son as Won (One). Father imputed righteousness, Daddy's righteousness and so I do and go as told too.
Woe, wow, Isaiah 6:1-7

So where do you seperate daily service from eternal salvation?
They are not the same thing and one is not dependent on the other.
Here is an AI assisted, response to your above question... I feel it is more understandable, than what I presented.. I have a background in teaching Math & Science and "tend" to get mathematical with my Scripture .. ( Truth = Logic ) "Let us reason together") ~~ I'm still learning => sanctification, by the Grace of God, Praise the Lord !!

Daily service and eternal salvation are closely connected, but they are not exactly the same thing. The idea that salvation is a gift from God that is received through faith in Jesus Christ, but, daily service and faithful living are essential fruits of that salvation. In other words, while salvation is based on grace, the way we live each day demonstrates the reality of that salvation.

1. Salvation through Faith, not Works

Eternal life is a gift that cannot be earned through works. It is through faith in Jesus Christ that salvation comes:
Salvation is not a reward for the righteous; it is the free gift of God, obtained through the merits of Christ. This means that no matter how much good we do, we cannot earn salvation by our own efforts; it is based on Christ’s grace and sacrifice.
2. Daily Service is Evidence of Salvation

Although salvation is a gift, genuine salvation will lead to a transformed life. Daily service, which involves obedience to God's commandments and living in a Christlike manner, proves the authenticity of one's salvation.
True faith always leads to works of obedience. In the life of the Christian, faith works by love and purifies the soul. Here, the idea is that our daily actions reflect the faith that saves us. Obedience is not the means of salvation, but it is the result of it.
3. The Call to a Daily Walk with God

The importance of a daily, personal relationship with Christ. Daily service involves daily surrender, where the believer chooses to live according to God’s will, which is critical for spiritual growth:
It is only by a daily experience, by hourly walking with Christ, that we can be kept from falling into the power of the enemy. Salvation is not a one-time event, but a continuous process of sanctification. As we live out our faith daily, we are being transformed to be more like Christ.
4. The Role of Works in the Judgment

While salvation is by grace, works will play a significant role in the final judgment as they testify to the faith and obedience of the individual:
The judgment will be according to the works of men. 'They will be judged every man according to his works,' says the Scripture. And those who have walked in the light of the Lord will be rewarded" Here, the worksdaily service—are not a means to earn salvation, but a testimony of the transformation that has occurred in the heart of the believer, and they are considered in the judgment.
5. The Power of Christ to Live the Christian Life

Living a faithful, obedient life is only possible through Christ’s power. Encourages believers to rely on Christ for the strength to live out their faith each day:
It is not in our own strength that we are to live the Christian life. Christ in us is our hope of glory So, while daily service is important, it is not something we can accomplish by our own strength, but through Christ who empowers us.
6. The Importance of Consistency in Daily Service

The importance of faithful consistency in service, showing that the process of salvation is a lifelong journey:
The Christian life is not a mere profession of faith. It is not a day of service followed by a day of worldly pleasure, but it is a daily, constant work. This reinforces the idea that daily service is not separate from salvation but is a continual demonstration of the saving power of Christ in our lives.
Conclusion
In summary, daily service and eternal salvation are deeply connected. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, but it should lead to a life of daily service, obedience, and sanctification. This service is not what saves us, but it is the evidence of salvation that transforms us. The two are intertwined in a continual cycle of grace, faith, and works, as the believer grows in Christ and reflects His character in daily life.

Well, the point of questioning 'turning from sin' being part of salvation.. is the fact that it IS about focussing on self instead of Jesus. So the person that is asked why they should be let into heaven may say 'because I turned from my sin'.. rather than 'because I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation'
Here are Bible verse references corresponding to the six key points made above, teachings about the relationship between daily service and eternal salvation:

1. Salvation Through Faith, Not Works
  • Ephesians 2:8–9 — “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
  • Titus 3:5 — “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…”
  • Romans 3:28 — “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”
“Salvation is not a reward for the righteous; it is the free gift of God.”

2. Daily Service is Evidence of Salvation
  • James 2:17–18 — “Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone… I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
  • Galatians 5:6 — “Faith which worketh by love.”
  • Matthew 7:20–21 — “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them… Not every one that saith… shall enter… but he that doeth the will of my Father…”
“True faith… always leads to works of obedience.”

3. The Call to a Daily Walk With God
  • Luke 9:23 — “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself daily, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
  • 1 Corinthians 15:31 — “I die daily.”
  • Micah 6:8 — “What doth the Lord require of thee… but to do justly… and to walk humbly with thy God?”
“It is only by a daily experience… that we can be kept from falling.”

4. The Role of Works in the Judgment
  • 2 Corinthians 5:10 — “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ… whether it be good or bad.”
  • Ecclesiastes 12:14 — “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing…”
  • Revelation 22:12 — “And, behold, I come quickly… to give every man according as his work shall be.”
“The judgment will be according to the works of men”

5. The Power of Christ to Live the Christian Life
  • Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
  • Galatians 2:20 — “Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live… I live by the faith of the Son of God…”
  • John 15:5 — “Without me ye can do nothing.”
“It is not in our own strength… Christ in us is our hope of glory”

6. The Importance of Consistency in Daily Service
  • Hebrews 10:36 — “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
  • Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not be weary in well doing…”
  • Matthew 24:13 — “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
“The Christian life… is a daily, constant work” salvation is a gift, but it must produce a life of faithful service—not as a means of earning salvation, but as its fruit and evidence.

I agree with you on this.

The question is.. how much fruit is required to 'prove' you are converted?

I agree with you on this.
The question is.. how much fruit is required to 'prove' you are converted?
Salvation is not proven by a certain amount of good works or fruit. Instead, salvation is evidenced by the spiritual quality of our lives—fruit that reveals Christlike character, rooted in daily conversion and obedience to God’s will. The real question is not “How much fruit?” but “Is this the fruit of Christ’s Spirit living in me?

The focus is on consistency of character, not counting works.
Good fruits are a test of the spirit and teaching, not a quantitative measure for salvation.
If we remain in connection with the Vine stock every day, we shall bear the fruits of His character.
  • Not External Acts, but Heart Obedience
  • Quality of Fruit is Evidence of Authenticity
Paul calls the “fruit of the Spirit”: “love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance” (Galatians 5:22–23). These reflect the inner transformation by the Holy Spirit, not outward metrics.
  • Fruit Is the Natural Result of Abiding in Christ
John 15:4–5 often: fruit is a natural result of abiding in Christ, not something to be produced to earn salvation. “When we are united with Christ, our life is hidden with Christ in God; we shall become one with Christ in God, and shall bear the fruit of the Spirit”

God, Father and Son have not stopped reaching out yet. Wow! amazing Lord Thank you as when the next person asks correctly, not caring anymore about their own self to get things needed here on earth, Now trust in you to be given
Such as in the First (Old) Testament with that woman I have read about, that was about to lose everything, house and all. Owed beyond measurement to pay it all up.
I think it was Ezekiel that Father sent, to show here a value she had there. He did, and she was able to pay it all off and then some.
God is good all the time as good is God all the time. It takes until the last second to continue to stand, no matter what it looks like, even if one has to move, it might be best. It is giving it all to God and standing in trust to God. God sees us all now right now as perfect, thanks to the done work of Son for us all. Now what to do with this?
Appreciate or use it for self gain? I see Thank you Father and Son as Won (One) for everyone, that is done on that cross for us all as reconciled Forgiven.
Wow! Woe is men anyone else? Thank you Dad, now what? Live in trust to me as I see you presently through my risen Son to you
Colossians 1:28
whom we preach, warning every man and teaching in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus,

But Father, I am not perfect, I want to be, yet I have not been trying to do it, I see I can't, what is done for me?

Colossians 1:21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath hereconciled
Colossians 1:22
in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in hissight:
Colossians 1:23
if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which yehave heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Reconciled, forgiven, accepted and sealed by God to see it, I thank God you are seeing it, as I read the posts from you, God given you, Pilgrims hope, which I see you not having any pride, that tries to get in still, thank you

Eph 1:6, accepted
Ehp 1:7, Forgiven
Ehp 1:13, sealed
Trusting God to do as said in Eph 1:6 from Paul to us all to stand in trust alone in the done work of Son for us all to be new in love and mercy too, thank you

So what do you say to Jesus?

I'm going to heaven because of what I have done well.. or because of Jesus' sacrifice for you, when you believed on Him?
