I HATE THE TWIT-BAR!!!

Yes, I even gave it a derogatory name.

Please make it possible to disable the ubiquitous Twiiter/facebook bar on the left-hand side of the screen. I figured out how to hide it, but it comes back on every new page that is loaded. I don't use Twitter or facebook, and the Twit-Bar obstructs a lot of the side-bar, plus it annoyingly flashes every time you hover over it.

I second this emotion. If anything else. Stick it to the far left so it is not hiding information. or at the bottom of a post. The position it is in is just a pain.

Hey guys I didn't change anything. Apparently the service we use for that changed it, and I agree it's not good being fixed to the side of the page rather than the side of the browser. I'll see what I can do, but bear with me coz at the moment we're preparing for a category 5 hurricane (here it's called a "super typhoon"), which is gonna come very close to us.
 
By the way I did completely remove it a few weeks ago and someone begged me to put it back. :D
 
Okay it only allows two options for position: left or right. For some reason, specifying left makes it fixed to the left of the page, whereas specifying right makes it fixed to the right side of the window. So I put it on the right. How is it now?

it's on the right now - which is better.
i discovered (while it was still on the left) it stays there unless you click GO ADVANCED in order to reply...then it disappears.
it just stayed there for POST QUICK REPLY.

all good either way.
