13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.


There is a great deal of significance and truth contained in these capstone verses of Satan's contrivance that He will be allowed to present during the coming tribulation period

History and the future are part of the view and we can find that all of the other Bible prophets present many details of the same

I will start this thread and give commentary shortly

 
The first beast is the collective system of rule over the people that has evolved these last 6000 years. The beast that appears on land are the collective "religions" that sprang up within the context and framework of the first beast, meaning it was according to the rules and guidelines of what ruled around it.
 
The Beast in Rev 13:1-10 is the political/military leader and the Beast in Rev 13:11-18 is the religious leader.

We call the first one the Beast and the second the False Prophet.

We have dozens of each! Which one? That is why you need to look at this as a collective spirit or mindset, and not so individualized in approach.

These two will become evident at the time of the Tribulation. They are the two that are cast into the Lake of Fire by Christ at His return...

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Please notice here that the Beast is a man...

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Notice the singular pronoun? Not a collective but one man.
 
The first beast is the forth beast: Rome.
The second beast is the beast that numbers all the people for buying and selling of merchandise on a worldwideweb of commerce: USA
 
Naw, the Beast is the leader of the seventh and final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire and the False Prophet is the religious leader of a great universal church that has empowered the six resurrections prior and will empower the final resurrection.

1st resurrection - Justinian in 554AD. He recognized the pope as the supreme religious leader and empowered him.
2nd resurrection - Charlemagne crowned by the pope in 800AD.
3rd resurrection - Otto the Great crowned by the pope in 962AD.
4th resurrection - Charles V crowned by the pope in 1520AD.
5th resurrection - Napoleon crowned by the pope in 1805
6th resurrection - Hitler/Mussolini empowered by Pope Pius XII.
7th resurrection - forming in Europe now.

Again looking at it from it's proper mindset, this has already happened. The world today is ruled by Roman civil law! Also known as the Devine right of kings.

This is what is happening NOW! As I have stated in numerous posts now, if our Lord whom we all claim to believe in, NEVER DIES AND HAS THE POWER TO GRANT THIS TO ALL WHO BELIEVE, then WHY are WE STILL DYING?!? It is because it is US WHO HAVE BEEN CAST ALIVE (we are living) into this lake of fire!

How long do you think this system can last that is defended so much, that by it's own numbers, is $40 trillion dollars in debt? Who is it in debt to? Itself!?

This beast is surely cast alive (as we give this foolish image life) and it will fall and never rise again! We are cast along with it because of deception or acceptance. We must be washed of this ignorant way of living!

The first beast is not happen in 6000 years.

It only 42 months

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Little historical note here. Napoleon was actually not crowned by the Pope. Napoleon funny enough in haste or misunderstanding, seized the crown from the Pope before the Pope could finish the process and placed it on his own head, thus crowning himself (and in so doing did not actually fulfill the imperial coronation process, but rather abrogated his own imperial claim.)
 
42 months need to be properly defined as this is symbolic. Power was given for it to continue. This system died many, many years ago! It has continued these 2000 plus years because of our acceptance into it.

Goodluck brother Straightshot. Explaining this one, will be a monumental task. (knowing basically where you're heading)

I just have to add that it's a bit sad most write off the Muslim/666/Quran theory, basically saying that the persecution of millions and millions of those refusing Mohammed/Quran for hundreds and hundreds of years, and then those same millions, and millions dying for Christ/otherwise isn't even a end time theory worth looking into as a possibility for an explanation.

It's as to say, "Naw, automatically wrong.....all of that isn't "grand" enough to fit scripture."
