Okay, these aren't Christian poems. But I think they are unobjectionable, and kids like them. Grown ones also tend to like them, as well. However, if found objectionable for the forum, a Mod may delete the post with no hard feelings on my part.
The Bandimals
by HWatts
Mr. Frog plays rhythm on a bass stump drum,
Uncle Owl hoots a tune just to join in the fun.
Ole Bear's low growl adds bottom to the song
and all woodland critters start singing right along.
Miz Sparrow, Miz Swallow and Ma Wren with glee,
tweet, chirp and twitter in harmony.
Diamond-back Jim starts rattling his tail,
while Coyote Cody comes on with a wail.
They're the stars of their Nation
heard far and wide,
and their clever orchestration
is the forest's pride.
The Oaks and the Elms start shakin' limbs 'n' leaves
just to cool off the players by stirrin' up a breeze.
It's the culture of their woods, everybody helps out,
even Bob Boar grunts in time through his snout.
Fishes are a-jumping, rising up like birds,
splashing on the river to punctuate words,
sung in creature language, sung all together.
Why, even ole Sol keeps a handle on the weather!
Yes, the voice of the World
singing joy every day,
they know how to work,
and they know how to play.
Fairyland Express*

Mists arise in fairyland, aglow to light the dreams
of those immortal children who dream immortal things.
Golden airy lights reveal sights wondrous to behold,
but only little ones can see, for we become too old.
Sleeping children see forever these enchanted scenes.
Rising high into the night with turrets made of stone,
a castle floats above tall oaks, sounding pleasant tones;
tunes sung by an elven choir, ephemerally light,
meander through the forest bringing solace to the night.
Sleeping children hear forever these enchanted songs.
Incense-fragranced fireworks fly in magical ascent,
forming pictures in the sky of mystical intent;
yellow, blue, and red and green, all colours in between
erupt in perfumed patterns artistically conceived.
Sleeping children breathe forever these enchanted scents.
Candies float above the grass within a child's sure reach,
pies and cakes serenely baked, supremely-offered treats;
cinnamon and chocolate, ice creams that never melt
and tall cool drinks of lemonade that never can be spilt.
Sleeping children taste forever these enchanted sweets.
Furry magic hats appear on creatures sprouting wings
with smoothly polished bracelets fit for fairy-queens.
Goose-down pillowed sofas underneath the stars on high
offer fluffy beds of respite where youngsters love to lie.
Sleeping children touch forever these enchanted things.
Fairies sing of magic dust,
sprinkled in the air
for boys and girls who truly trust
and surely love to share.
So when they climb in bed tonight
to join these fairy scenes,
wish for them a happy flight
of surrealistic dreams.
