Pentagon proposes plan to equip and train ‘moderate’ Syrian rebels

The Pentagon has put together a plan to equip and train “moderate” Syrian rebel forces, marking the first instance of the American military having direct contact with the opposition.

Information regarding the new plan was relayed by two Obama administration officials to CNN. The idea has allegedly been under consideration since the first evidence of a massive chemical weapons attack outside of Damascus on August 21 emerged, which the US maintains was carried out by Assad’s government.

Adelson now stands behind ‘commander in chief’

Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, who spent nearly $100 million trying to defeat President Obama and other Democratic candidates in 2012, now says he stands behind the White House's push for air strikes in Syria.

"He is our commander in chief, whether we like what he says politically or not," Adelson told the National Journal in an exclusive interview late Monday evening.

And though Democrats cast Adelson as the poster boy of campaign finance run amok in 2012, Adelson said he's even ready, if asked, to help Obama round up votes in Congress for a strike.

"I would be willing to help out the administration because I believe it's the right thing to do," he told the Journal.

Though he was a fervent opponent of Obama, Adelson is also a longtime supporter of Israel who believes that America's standing in the world is at stake in the showdown with Syria over chemical weapons.

There is no such thing as a moderate Syrian Muslim Jihadist rebel. That's a media construct to fool Americans.
 
He's smiling after assaulting, robbing, and murdering Syrian Christians who have remained neutral and peaceful during the conflict.

U.S. supporting Jihadist Islamic rebels are perpetuating atrocities upon Christian communities. Syria’s Christians have found themselves under assault by the U.S. and European-backed Free Syrian Army since Syria’s civil war broke out in March 2011 and from the al-Qaida-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra.

Christian villages have been wiped out, and the rebels have confiscated Christian land. Churches around Homs and Aleppo have been destroyed. Men, women, and children murdered.

U.S. Christians scratch our heads and wonder what the Obama Administration could be thinking in using military force to fund Islamic Jihadists to murder and rob neutral Christians in their quest to replace a secular government with an Islamic theocracy.

The Obama Administration has clearly shown they are deeply committed to building Islamic theocracy all over the Middle East.

What a bunch of nonsense in that video. Obama is a very confused individual. I'd love to debate him and refute his many false assertions. And let's see a monument dedicated to the 270 million victims of over a millennium of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations, and enslavement perpetuated by Muslims.
 
The religions of pieces is at it again. This time in Kenya. Islamist terror attack on shopping mall in Kenya. Lots of RIPs. Non-Muslims were deliberately targeted. Maybe Obama will send U.S. troops to help the Muslim jihadists overthrow the secular government of Kenya.

Now that this has come back up, I'll try and contribute something meaningful tomorrow. But in the meanwhile, this bit of nonsense kind of sums it up in a nutshell. Really though this is yet another conspiracy IMO.

But we must believe what we are told,forget who's truth it is.Anyway, we have the media to tell us the absolute truth, we can always trust the story they give us.Maybe some people are better off not knowing the truth, they like the lies it's easier to digest.
 
There is nothing truthful about this except it is horrible and that is a understatement.

Although it'd be unfair to just pick on Democrats. The past few presidents - Republican or Democrat - have pretty much been the same. One big disappointment. /rant
 
Okay. As I understand it, at the moment, a bunch of militants are trying to overthrow the Syrian government and butchering villages of Christians while they're at it. The Syrian troops would probably have overcome the rebels by now, but for the interference of Western nations and Israel. The NWO and Co. are looking for an excuse (e.g. false flag chemical weapon usage) to become overtly involved in the war in Syria, to ensure the game goes their (currently losing) El-CIA-duh! buddies' way. This will give the USSA and its allies a foothold for (world) war (3) with Iran.

Are the Syrian Christians armed? Do they have any means to protect themselves? Is Syria like say, Texas, with respect to gun control (i.e. people with guns and not scared to use 'em), or is it more like Britain, where not even the police are allowed fire arms?

President Breaks Arms Export Laws to Send Shipments to Syrian "Rebels"

The motto of the Obama administration seems to be, “He who rules the waves may waive the rules.”

According to a story published by The Hill, “President Obama has waived federal regulations on U.S. arms sales to begin supplying anti-chemical weapons equipment to rebel forces in Syria.”

Under applicable (until now) provisions of the Arms Export Control Act, the president may not authorize shipment of any item included in the U.S. Munitions List.

This is interesting. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church sent a letter to Obama on behalf of the Syrian Christians in which is stated:

"Our special concern is for the fate of the Christian population of Syria, which in that case will come under the threat of total extermination or banishment. It has already happened in the regions of the country seized by militants. An attempt made by the armed groups of the Syrian opposition to seize the town of Ma’loula whose residents are predominantly Christians has become a new confirmation of our concerns. The militants keep shelling the town in which ancient Christian monasteries are located – the sites of special veneration by the faithful all over the world."

What do you believe when it comes to Syria ? I don't know. The Malaysians around me are relaying stories of Malaysian volunteer doctors in the area who are stating the militants they are working with are staying away from the Christian areas so they are not harmed. It is the Assad government going in there pretending to be militants to get the world offside with the militants.

Interesting story. It could be that the volunteers are being fed a story to generate good PR, it could be that the foreign mercenaries are pretending to be militants pretending to be Syrian troops, or it could be true.

Although despicable if true (which I doubt, at this stage), the argument can still be put forward that this strategy wouldn't have been utilised by Assad if his government hadn't been destablised by international meddling, in the form of supporting terrorists and terrorism.

Obviously that's not happening. These two appear to have fallen for the lie being spread around on some Democrat websites to support their false messiah's (e.g. Obama) desire to build a Muslim theocracy in Syria.

Syrian Christians work at all levels of Assad's government and there are Christians at the highest levels. Syrian Christians are involved in Assad's militia neighborhood watch groups across the country. There is no way Assad is going to shell his own militia and government members (e.g. his side) in this civil war.

Assad is an Alwarite and he is very friendly with Christians. Alwarites celebrate Christmas. Obama, on the other hand, is pro-Muslim brotherhood and favors rebel rule in Syria.

It is the rebels that are burning Christian churches, schools, and murdering Christians. This has been well established.

Democrats are making up lies and feeding them to each other because they don't want to believe they're wrong... that the guy they voted for is arming people to murder Christians. But that's the truth. That's what's happening.
