You said that the U.S. is a secular nation. The founding fathers were interested in a cooperation between church and state not state over church or church over state. U.S. historians refer to this as Jeffersonianism.

Jeffersonianism existed almost unchanged until Everson v. Board of Education (1947) when the U.S. Supreme Court began transitioning the U.S. away from Jeffersonianism toward secularization adopting a bias toward atheism in the process.

It's not a minor point and that's why I shared it. Maybe the U.S. will be a completely secular nation. In order to accomplish that; however, the U.S. justice system will need to stop favoring atheism.

Yeah, and church attendance in the UK is lower than it is in the US (and probably Australia). The UK is no more a Christian nation than any other.


Are you proposing that the UK's system of having a state church is a more effective witness for Christ? That it is somehow better in some way or another?
