Being under the law is those who think they can be saved, justified or earn there way into heaven by it.
Obeying the law, is those who know they are saved by grace through faith in the saving salvation of the blood of Yeshua. And therefore obey Yah's commands to honor and respect Him for the free gift He has given us.

To be under the Law means to be under the condemnation of the Law But, in Christ there is no condemnation even though the Law (10 commandments) are still binding.
Nice try. But the Law is only binding to the ones that are under the Law.
In Christ there is no Condemnation because in Christ we are forgiven of our sins.
The Law Has no Power to forgive. The Law only points out sins, and therefore points out your condemnation.
Under the law I agree is to be under condemnation.
But do we set aside the law, no, for the law is good.
But scripture also says the law diminishes and that grace increaces.
I look to the greatest comandment,
That you love the Lord your God with all your heart, streangth, soul and mind and
love your neighbor as yourself.
On this, all the laws are based.
For this tells us that the law was to guide us to love, the law fullilled is Jesus, love perfected.
For Jesus shows us that the law is not about condemnation, but love, how we are called to this love and know it in Jesus, but also how God loves us.
Because everything we are given in the scriptures serves God and us, so that we will come to know this perfect love.
But we cannot do these things on our own, it is in Jesus and by grace that we recive, come to know and live this love.
Be still and know that I am God, powerful words that bring one to stop, and see, that everything given is so we can know the perfect love in Jesus, given by God Our Father to His glory.
Law in Jesus is not about condemnation or loss or controll, it is compleatly about God's love given in Jesus, and our learning in Jesus how to love.
Law perfected= fullfilled =Jesus= perfect love!

(23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is clear that if we have sin in our life then we are under condemnation But, If we accept the gift of God then we do not have condemnation.
Romans 8:1

The only way we are not under the condemnation of the Law is to be in Christ. We must remain in Christ, we have to stay in Christ.

Fantastic explanation.
Almighty Yahweh our God is so loving and merciful he gave us his son Yeshua as our King, our Saviour.
He loves us and sent Yeshua our Saviour to be the sacrifice so that the price of sin is not death for those that accept Salvation.
We are so blessed that even though we fall short of Almighty Yahweh our God's glory, he still gives us a chance to be forgiven by him through our King Yeshua our Saviour.
If after all this you do not feel grateful and love with all your heart and soul, and don't want to do good in Almighty God Yahweh sight... Then you should read through the Bible and pray until you do...
He deserves obedience and love, his way is the right way.
How Amazing you are, how merciful and kind, how blessed we are that you never gave up on us.
Yeshua my King, my Saviour son of the Almighty, all loving, merciful Yahweh my God.

Your either under law (saved by the old covenant) or under grace (saved by the new) there is no in between.

Plus, Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandments.
Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

That is the first step that not only leads to salvation. But also leads to spiritual maturity. It is people who think they are righteous through the law who will fail to be saved, or fail to understand God and be mature Christians. Without humility, we will get no where with God.
When we behave selfishly, we bring trouble into our lives. The purpose of the law is go guide us away from selfish behavior.
If you recieve the gift of God you are no longer under the Law.
If you look to the Law, to obey it, you are under the Law.
If you are under the Law you are under condemnation.
There is no way around it. The Law points out your sins. All the time, every time.
Honor His commands? Do you mean point people to the Law to obey it?
That is condemnation, and death.
The Law only shows us our sin. That is all it was ever designed to do.
All the “not under law” people are going to scripture for understanding. They are accepting scripture as truth and that is good.
But the scriptures they are denying as truth is NOT good. We are to accept scriptures that tell us to obey the law as also truth.
I understand that it is difficult when one scripture seems to nullify another. When that happens, it is our understanding that is at fault. Scripture is truth. When anyone sees conflict in scripture it just takes study and prayer until understanding comes of how the conflicting scriptures fit together.
But the scriptures they are denying as truth is NOT good. We are to accept scriptures that tell us to obey the law as also truth.

All through the Bible Gods Grace is shown. Gods Work.
God Sacrificed for Adam and Eve.
God Sacrificed for Abraham.
God brought Joseph to Egypt. God showed Joseph that he must store up for the coming famine.
God brought the Jews out of Egypt.
God showed the Jews how to be saved from the Angel of Death at the first Passover.
God parted the sea so the Jews could escape and He brought it back down to stop the Egyptian Army.
God gave the Jews manna from Heaven.
God gave the Jews water out of the Rock.
God gave the Jews meat from birds when they murmured about manna.
God gives. That is Grace. What did the Jews do? They had pride and confidence in their own selves. That was sin.
Deuteronomy 5:27 Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.
Were the Jews able to hear it, and do it? No. But there was One who came from the Jews who was able to hear it, and do it.
He is the Perfect one. He is the one we look to for our Salvation. Much like the Jews looked to the staff with the snakes on it to be healed from snake bites.
We don't look to our strength. We don't look to our works.
We look to Jesus for Him to do in us that which we can't do on our own. Its all about Jesus.
The Law just shows you what you can't do in your own power. The Law shows your need of a Saviour. The Law shows you your sin.
Magnify the Law the way Jesus did and you will know this is true. Jesus said being angry with a brother for no cause was breaking Gods Law. Jesus said that looking on a woman to lust after her was breaking Gods Law.
If you water down Gods Law to a point where it appears you can keep it in your own strength, Like Jesus did, then you lie. And it is the most wicked of lies because you lie to your own self.
What does John say about that? If a man says he has no sin the truth is not in him.
1 John 1:4-10
4And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

We are not "under law" but we are under commandants.

I do not look to the Law to obey it I look to God to obey Him for Jesus said this:-
John 14:15
(15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Exodus 20:6
(6) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Jesus statement comes from the 10 commandments
You can't obey God until you realize you are a sinner and need a Saviour. Once you realize this you will cry out to God and if He is willing, He will give you a new heart. This new heart follows Jesus, follows Love. It does not turn back to condemnation, the Law.
It is all about God giving to us. It is not about what we can and can't do in our own works.
