what are these dark sentences that the Man of Sin understand? Should we understand these dark sentences so we are not in the dark?
Daniel 8:23
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
In reference to this thread, I was intrigued by the phrase. I don’t remember reading it before, but I know I did, because I have read Daniel more than once. Now that I have gotten the assets of the pictorial Hebrew language, that is unique, I have looked into the depth of the phase according to the Hebrew.
Understanding=Strongs # 995
Hebrew word= “biyn”/pronounced bene
Meaning=distinguishing as to separate mentally, related to the spiritual realm, giving power to a spherical perception of knowledge.
Dark sentences is one Hebrew word=Strongs #2420
Hebrew word= “chiydah”/pronounced khee-daw
Meaning=a puzzle, a trick, or conundrum of hard questions of proverbial riddles, weaving together differences to the inner perception of mental deception.
“dark sentences” is related to the Hebrew word “chuwd”/pronounced khood, meaning to hook, add, and secure into a realm of division. I will add also, that it could instigate the phrase “agreeing to disagree” for the purpose of feeling a sense of togetherness.

Looking at Matthew chapter 24, I do believe that we are on these grounds today.
We can see all this in the Christian realm, the secular realm, the world affairs, and the United States administration, along with many other examples that I need not mention.
How Christians should combat this immense power of deception, for tody is a dangerous time.
