Spiritually, but not cognisantly
But spiritually affects all the faculties of man. When God cut Adam off from spiritual life that impacted him entirely. And if we really dig into the post-Fall account, we can see this easily enough. For example, we can see how both A&E became walking, talking dichotomies and how self-deceived the became.

“To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours …”
(2 Peter 1:1 - NASB, NLT, more?)

I wonder where they got this saving faith from?

Right, so he started drooling and walking hunched over

Oh...that's easy. Many here will quickly tell you that faith comes from man's "free will".

Right, because he had shame. Nothing else changed. He was the greatest human who has ever lived, both before and after the fall, except for Christ. He was god-like
Adam was gifted like none other outside of Christ, but not after sin. Spiritually he died. His heart, mind, and will were all affected. For the first time he felt shame. At God's appearing, he experienced fear for the first time. Imagine that. Every previous experience with God had produced feelings of love, peace, and joy. Not this time. He experienced shame and fear and hid. Something had seriously changed.

What changed was that spiritual life he had by God's Spirit at creation was replaced with death and emptiness.

Yes, thank God all his equally dead progeny did all that. I never knew the dead had all this great ability.
Before you join Christians who discuss the Bible scriptures you may want to read them next time. Then you would know a great deal and be able to know what we are talking about. At least from the periphery.

Why (rhetorical question here) do you consistently couch your questions to those who do not agree with you, as statements on things they never said?

While the Bible does not explicitly say this, why would it even be necessary in the way we understand that today? Where and how did Adam draw his first breath? Who breathed into Him life? Hey ~ we do not understand just how fallen we are and if we did we just might shut the hee haw up. No. Really.

Absolutely...for two reasons: Gen 2:7 wherein the 'breath of life" is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is called the "breath" in various places in scripture. Secondly, logically speaking Adam had to have been spiritually alive prior to his sin, otherwise how could he have died spiritually subsequent to his sin? Does not death presuppose antecedent life?

Oh my. Here is something you and I agree on. Mind you, it is a full moon.

Well...there's the land of Eden and there's the Garden that was in Eden. Adam was evicted from the latter, and there's nothing in Gen 3:21-4:16 to suggest that A&E left the land.

Also, if Cain and Abel weren't living in Eden, then why reference Eden in 4:16 with respect to where the land of Nod was? If they had been living in some other place other than Eden, it would have been more natural and logical to reference that place with respect to Nod.
Why not reference Eden? Where is this land of Eden mentioned in Scripture aside from saying the garden of Eden was there??
