Trying to understand the rapture

In This sermon we get understanding what full preterism entails and why people believe in it , which is ruled out by the speaker, but it does look like partial preterism is something that's believable on the bases that the temple of Jerusalem was destroyed.

Trying to understand this further, is if the destruction of the temple is related to start of the rapture, then why would a person still hold to partial preterism, would they not be a full preterist, or is it the temple will be rebuilt and people will start performing animal sacrifice again, which will a sign the rapture is close ?

Other key points is a pre trib rapture would include two returns of Christ, which is argued against by speaker, his reason given for that is the meeting of Christ in the air will just be a meeting that takes place. Which seems to suggest his people will then be immediately brought back to earth whilst the tribulation starts.

I'm starting to watch the video, but as I see it, Christ and his people return to earth after the bowls of wrath are poured out on the earth. Then the beast flips out when it sees the kingdom of God regathered in Israel and orders all nations to gather and fight this invasion of space aliens, which is the battle of Armageddon

well he gives what I believe right towards the end from 19 mins 15 secs for just a few mins a good biblical account why all saints or all people ever saved will be a part of tribulation.

If I can get a valid reason to not believe that then I'll consider it.

Until then I'll stand by my church belief that we will all be a part of great great tribulation, and not just sat there watching it from a distance.

i agree since, as I see it, the trib happens before the lord returns. His return ends the tribulation. Then the bowls of wrath are poured out.

well as I see it during the great tribulation some people will still be saved.
And it will be the help of his saints that also help to accomplish that goal
I Would of thought that would include all those resting in Christ already.

But partial preterists DO believe in two returns of Christ. They have no leg to stand on when criticizing pre-tribbers.

They believe in a judgment coming on Jerusalem in AD70 and then the official second coming at the last day.

But it's not a belief in 2 bodily comings. One coming is figurative and the other is actual
