If we know anything about sin, it is doing things against God's will. The first sin committed by man was when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden,by doing what he told them not to do. They created that first sin in their lives. After being exposed to that first sin committed, they were going to continue to make more sin, because it was what pleased them, and not God.
