I've got to say, I've noticed quite the diverse set of beliefs here.
I guess that's natural for everyone who believes something.

I just thought to say we should remember why we're even here together, as brothers and sisters.
Even if we believe different things, let's remember that Jesus is the One who has brought and who brings us together.

I know it isn't a lot of words, but it really is too much for words.

We may disagree on issues from time to time, but it's HOW we discuss them with one another that really counts, isn't it? Checking our motivations is very helpful. Are we truly attempting to share information with others or are we being mean-spirited and trying to one up one another? Are we doing it in love or are we doing the clanging gong thing?

Jesus is watching and listening and reading. He knows our motives.

Oh Dear, here I am way out in left field as far as unity. I spend as much as six hours a day studying, trying to find truth as God gives it, and I still land in left field!!

Basically it is because you are unified in Christ, I would be unified with you if you said we were together with the triune God.

I feel very isolated from you, but I feel together with our Lord.
 
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond (slave) nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" -Galatians 3: 26-28

There can't be unity among christians until the ones accusing their brothers and sisters learn to put away their pride and self-righteousness and take the log out of their own eye before trying to remove the splinter in someone else's eye.
