Acts 1:8

“…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

While some say the 1st century Christians spread the gospel through much of the world known to them, most of the world was not evangelized, and 2,000 years later, much of the world is still unreached.

It is estimated that of the 8.08 billion people alive in the world today, 3.42 billion of them live in unreached people groups with little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

According to Joshua Project, there are approximately 17,269 unique people groups in the world with 7,188 of them considered unreached (over 42% of the world’s population)! The vast majority (85%) of these least reached groups exist in the 10/40 window and less than 3% of missionary work is done among these people.

Men are controlled by religion and the Uncontrolable Holy Spirit is not as the thread states. Power of The Holy Spirit
so really the math is inaccurate. Because the main purpose is to Recieve and use His Authority with The correct message Why He Lives Glorified Son of Man

saying many Are Not getting the word of the Holy Spirit . Its nothing to do with the numbers that Many may claim GF is correct know how many try come in the back Door? Just pointing .
If men speak truth then the number is correct

Idk if ask same question again ,?to my mistake,? I add this I think you talking about the word of God and so many heard in In Love by the Hs .
religious word that tells me the from your post they claim Christian etc religion yes they hold fast to But not to God Holy Spirit word of His Love. there is no Way! Men lie first to themself and get others to Follow . Then by using Bible scriptures to their Profit and they are not prophets nor anointed Kings

Idk you popular search source and what is considered The word of God I guess .?
I use term Gospel for you know the Gospel that works for if it's The full GospelThen reaching being heard not just parts of story from everlasting Gospel .
Get me another Number?
How many are on Jesus right side that know Him Then is that number higher or lower, from The ones on the Left side of Jesus that say they and claim know Him. Jesus most righteous says, .? Really tho the numbers, is none of or business To tell you the Truth

Whats the point of your thread? The word has it covered. so want does anyone gain from statistics? Is it a sign to something else ?.is man in control ? Seriously don't see or hear the true Gospel being taught!

I remember the "10/40 Window" doctrine from 30 years ago. I did not know why at the time but it never sat well with me. Now, in my 50's, I have some insight:

1. The people of God are not sent based upon need alone. Biblically, the Holy Spirit prepared and sent apostles. Prophets and teachers and sometimes other apostles were the ones who heard from the Lord and sent out those chosen. Often, ones who were sent were simply set apart to await further instruction from the Spirit of God. This is very different from a message constructed like "Here is a need... now who will go there?" Many may want to address the need but without being equipped and sent by the Lord they have no chance of success. They may even get in the way of what the Lord is doing.

2. There are too many needs domestically to rationalize an international mission. Sure, it's less romantic to witness to "Jake your drunk neighbor" but there can be no argument that the foundation for a mission has been laid at your doorstep. Rationally speaking, of course.

3. If some are sent out by church leadership what is often commissioned is a "church planting" that resembles the mother church with all her trappings. Being led by the Spirit, not by the Mennonite, Methodist, Church of God et. al. handbooks is paramount to the life of believers. Biblically, what sent ones should do is raise up or recognize elders who come to the Lord and then instruct THEM about how to care for the people who come to the Lord in their area. All elders are pastors, but not all pastors are elders.

There's more but this is an adequate beginning.

Domestic witnessing to local people is vital, but they all have access to Bibles, churches, Christian radio, etc.

Unreached peoples groups have little to no access to the gospel.

Sure, it’s easier, less dangerous, and more convenient to stay in your home town and share your faith with the guy down the street, but there is much more that needs to be done.

I think the problem here is the definition of "unreached". The gospel has indeed gone into the remotest corners of the world to virtually all, if not all, peoples, but most will never be "reached" because they are not God's children

Maybe. A lot of people are sent as representatives of their denomination and not of God. The clue is that "missionary" is not found in scripture. "Being sent" is the Greek word apostelló. Is it obvious which Biblical calling is derived from that word?

Many of the "missionaries" I knew in my youth had no clue about doing the work of an apostle. Instead, commissioned by a mother-church, they planted denominational churches in foreign lands.

You nitpick at terminology. Are you even qualified to sit in judgment on missionaries?

There is also no example in the NT of worship or Christian work consisting of:

hymnals

pianos

organs

collection plates

pledge cards

creed recitations

choirs

pews

pulpits

crosses

microphones

church bulletins

carpet

flags

seminaries

Bible colleges

daily devotions books

announcements

book clubs

nurseries

Sunday school

floral arrangements

tracts

coffee and donuts
