For those of you that read my post before about my brother he had court the other day. He’s being falsely accused, this court was to either take a plead deal or go to trial. Now for two reasons we didn’t go to trial 1. There is no evidence that my brother did anything at all there is no evidence to put him in prison it’s a she said he said thing 2. It’s 25k to go to trial which we do not have at all. With the deal he has to serve 1.5 more months and is a deportable crime so if ICE puts a hold on him he will be deported. He is a resident but not a citizen.
Please I ask of you guys to help pray that ICE doesn’t put that hold. If they do not he will be coming out in 1.5 months. The day of court I saw him walk out into that court room and I have never in my life seen my brother the way I saw him that day. He just looked defeated/sad/down/like he lost his life. My brother who has guided me down the right path who was my father figure growing up had to admit to something he didn’t do and possibly be deported with no rights to come back leaving his daughter back here.
I ask that we pray for him. I also ask that you guys keep everyone who is incarcerated and is innocent in your prayers. It’s sad just because someone is allegedly accused of something everyone automatically looks at them as if they are a monster. (Which I do too when I hear something about someone) but this has opened my eyes so wide. Even for the people who have done things pray for them as well, pray for their well being.
This legal system does not care about to people in the court room. It’s sad how they throw pleas deals around and pretty much force you to take it.
