Very warm greetings, dear friends in Christ Jesus,

I am asking each and everyone of you to pray for those affected by Hurricane Sandy recently. There are many who have lost their lives, and power is still off in millions of homes that fortunately survived the hurricane. Many are without gasoline for their vehicles and cannot get to hospitals or the doctor. Others who are ill are living in total darkness often without food or water. The scenario is one of total devastation for many.

LORD Father, in the Most Holy Name of Jesus, we pray that you place your Divine hands of protection on each and every person affected by this horrendous storm. May each person find quick medical help, food, adequate shelter and peace and tranquility amid this chaos, O LORD. We know your power is mighty and we place our full trust in thee! We thank you and praise you and glorify your most Holy Name. Amen.

Thank you to those who prayed and will continue to pray for those who were and who continue to be in harm's way.

praying much i am in new england southern maine praying for all who need help in all ways that they need it amen.
 
I know the people south of us (NYC, the other boroughs, Long Island, and especially New Jersey!) need continuing prayer.
We're feeling a bit of a pinch locally because a lot of our gas is being diverted to Jersey. (as if waiting in long lines compares to what those folks are living right now...!) We did get a warning there may be shortages.

But with Manhattan in the shape it's in, and those fires in Queens and L.I., and the hundreds of thousands without power...yesterday one of the children said, "Welcome to Easy Street."
Our daughter who lives on Long Island was here for an hour or so yesterday, and she and her husband only lost power for an hour here and there.(I think their little town is a rarity in western LI)
But they're just blessed of the Lord, and passing it on. They have a few bachelors staying in their tiny apartment with them, and more people who just come to shower and eat some hot food.

It's getting colder, too! I pray for the elderly, the infirm, the children...
Lord God, with all the physical help you send (and thank You!) please give these poor people HOPE.
And show us where we can be Your hands.
For Jesus' sake. &#9829;

Almighty God I come before you on behalf oh these families from Hurricane Sandy Lord i ask that everything be restored back to normal and all the power comes back on in JESUS NAME i pray Amen
