you know how many nonbelievers there are that couldnt care less about your verse? Maybe one day you'll see that we live in a secular nation and trying to apply bible verses to those people isnt the answer to fix their issues. They've rejected it and will continue to. But you blindly keep beating your head against the wall trying to make them see something they arent looking for. Now for said people would you rather them all go get abortions or have knowledge about safe and healthy contraceptive use?
 
You know that it still matters for them whether they believe it or not? Maybe one day you'll see that Christians are called to be salt and light to a fallen world and start applying scripture in your dealings with those who are lost in it so they can get God's viewpoint and, whether quickly or slowly, begin to fix their issues.

Behavioral psychologists assert that many people need to hear new information repeatedly before it registers with them in a way that influences their behavior. It's also observed that many a scoffer stopped scoffing at some point in their life as a result of reaping the consequences of their sin and turned to God who brought a remembrance of what Christians had told them.

I don't have any problem with making birth control available to people. I do have a problem with removing God's message of abstinence before heterosexual monogamous marriage and failing to counsel them as to the negative aspects of engaging in sexual immorality with other people outside of a heterosexual monogamous marriage because that's what God wants and what people need to hear.

How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!" -Romans 10:15

I understand that not everyone gets on base first time up to bat Nautilus. But it's important they understand they need to get on base.

Smart contraceptive use - that's what public schools are indoctrinating teens to do. Then what if contraceptives fail? They choose abortion. It's wise to teach them total abstinence before marriage.

And what is the big negative aout pre-marital? Oh its a sin yes I get that. These same people DONT CARE> They are fine with it. I mean if they came to this site they get to see debates on whether or not energy drinks are satanic. Yeah thats a great way to bring in new believers.
 
I really can't see how someone can thank Obama for the drop of abortion rates. There are many factors that can contribute to that, but making abortion accesible to anyone who wants to have one is certainly not one.

What's up with the overly defensive attitude? I'm neither pro-Obama or against Obama. But I'm against laws that go against God's laws, like abortion, which is murder. I don't see the logic behind giving Obama credit for lowering abortion rates when all he has done is support abortion and making it accesible even to teenagers without parents' consent. As a Christian, I can't support the culture of death that he is supporting. Most probably, abortion rates went down because of an increase of contraception use, or the availability of the morning after pill (which I don't trust). There are many reasons why that could be, but again, supporting abortion is not one of them.

Just because you do not get physically ill or get pregnant, sex outside of marriage, or not between a man and a woman.....

is still a sin....

and hurts those who practice it...

in character....

and morality.

To say we should applaud the use of contraceptives when the sexual acts commited are predominantly outside of wedlock that lead to abortion, is like giving your kids steroids so they can get an athletic scholarship and who cares what those drugs do to them.

It is liberal logic though

Maybe you should take advice from someone who witnessed the statement about being a Muslim come out of his own mouth brother, and on top of that, You should take your own advice as the following two statements made by you were definitely not of God, as God does not lead HIS Children to do that which you have done, which was to ACCUSE and to CALL NAMES.

So then we should provide them abortions? I don't recall part of the christian life, being policing the actions of those around you?

What are you going to require the presentation of a marriage certificate to buy contraceptives?

Schools shouldn't make contraceptives available for their students, rather they should be taught abstinence. By handing out contraceptives you're essentially giving them a go-ahead to engage in pre-marital sex.

Nope. I live in the southern USA and abstinence is not the method best for kids. Abstinence only teaches them that all sex is to be avoided. It doesn't teach them anything about what it is appropriate for. Abstinence very rarely works...if ever...if at all.
