God esteemed animals higher than man when he accepted their sacrifical slaughter as payment to cover sins in the Old Testament.

Innocent sinless animals slaughtered because of our Sin. And their blood paid to the extent of covering those Sins.
Whole faith still saved us back then.

And the SCOTUS decision did not nullify animal cruelty laws.
God accepted animal sacrifice to atone for sin - yes.

This means God esteemed animals higher than man - just so very many things wrong with this. No no no no no. Very no. So many nos. No times ten to the power of a zillion.

OK. Whatever you wish to believe.
There is also the matter of human sacrifice for sins. That's in the OT too.

It's not a matter of what anybody chooses to believe. It's all over the Bible. Ecclesiastes 3:21, for example.

You didn't notice,that was a question?

Remember Judges 11? And Jephthah's vow?

Numbers 31

Leviticus 27
“But no devoted thing that a man devotes to the Lord, of anything that he has, whether man or beast, or of his inherited field, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord. No one devoted, who is to be devoted for destruction from mankind, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

How do you know He didn't materialize the clothes out of thin air?
Genesis 3:

21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

The skins of what? An animal perhaps?

Yes, I know it is implicit and not explicit.

None of that supports your theory that God esteems animals more highly than humans.

But I gotta admit, this is... an experience. You're the first person I've ever met who claimed both to be a Christian and that God values animals over humans.

I even asked my father, who knows a lot more people than I know, and he's never met a Christian who believes that. So this is genuinely a new experience.

Id think it would be common sense given the animal and human sacrifices in the OT.

Innocent animals qualified in God's eyes to cover the Sin of a human.
Why? How is that possible?

An animal that never Sins is deemed qualified by God's edict to be killed so that its blood pays the blood debt, ransom, for that persons human transgression.

How? Why?

And then we are told Jesus is the unblemished lamb. Whose blood on the cross, the last altar for sacrifice for the world's Sins.
Again, animal reference to Jesus, the Lamb of God.
