Been thinking about how the vastness of things.
We each have lives, doing this, that and the other thing. No matter what time it is, or what we are doing, somewhere in this world ants are making their home, hummingbirds are drinking, wheat ready to be cut, blowing in the wind, whilst a little bug crawls its way to the top… bees hovering in the midst of pedals, fish swimming, some getting caught. Some humans working hard, some laying homeless under a bridge, all while new babies are being born. We all know there are many siblings bickering and fussing, but also many laughing and playing. Some of us are waiting to see if we got the job, others are heartbroken from a lost job, or even a career. Sports are being watched, some played. Many are searching, some only want to find sleep. Many healing, some don't know they are sick. Many have many years left, but those they love are on the ragged edge of living. Some are the caregivers, some require care. Some on top of the world, while some are crawled up in a ball. There are people lying in their deathbeds, taking their final breaths, while many are walking down the aisle, ready to be wed. Important matters but also mundane things, like traffic jams mounting, dinners being prepared. Hustle and bustle for many, but also some are just resting. Many are reading, here I sit writing.
It really is incredible when I think on it... So much going on beyond what we experience, each and every moment, in so many different places, amongst men and in nature. I hope we take time to see that yes our lives matter, but so does every other. I wonder sometimes what everyone is doing, do you? How interesting and quite incomprehensible it is to think God is there, everywhere, in the midst of it all, in the still and in the multitude of swirl, and everything in between.
Life is so very abundant, all over the place, but still none of it and all of it doesn't compare to His bountiful, ubiquitous and infinite presence. He is such a delight to think on. Every breath of everyone, every critter and every human, are His to do with, whatever He chooses.
