1 Cor 6:9-11
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Such were some of you; but...

you were washed,

but you were sanctified,

but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5
25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,
looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,
who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

In have a prayer cloth cut out in the shape of a foot. Looking for a safe keep I slipped it into the pages of a book of devotionals. This morning, I opened it up and noticed it had married the page with a verse that happens to fit perfectly here....

John 13:8 Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus said to Him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."

O
Oops, wrong page, y'all are quick.... oh well, beat story anyway.
