AN ORTHODOX Jew walking home from work in Brooklyn early Friday was brutally attacked by a pack of thugs playing the "knockout game" - leaving him sprawled on the ground with a giant lump on his forehead, law-enforcement sources told The New York Post.

Shmuel Perl, who was wearing a yarmulke - a skullcap worn by Jewish males - had nearly reached his Borough Park home at 2:45am when he overheard four drunken punks blabbing about "knockout" - the sick social-media-driven game in which participants sucker punch passers-by with the goal of knocking them unconscious, sources said.

I think the US is becoming one scary place to be.
 
Thank you for bringing this to the attention of those who did not
know it is happening. We watch it on our news and it shows them
being knocked down with just one person hitting in victims head with
just one punch. The victim hits ground or street and are lifeless. I
can't believe we are in this stage of brutality.

Personally I believe all trouble makers should be sent to the Military
and made to go to fight the war in the Countries our men and women
need relieved and brought back home.

There the 'punks' might utilize their hatred for their fellow man and
maybe even save some lives and it will give them something to do
constructive. JMO
 
I have just recently learned about this criminal activity and it is so upsetting to me. I was literally sickened when I saw this on the news. I have to agree, the US is becoming one scary place.
 
There is definitely a darkness coming when things like this happen...just for fun.

This for fun has simply become more demonic than anyone can imagine.
It appears the demons are on the loose and each person must be on guard
if possible, at all times. May God send the guardian angel quickly to protect
the innocent.

No... you don't teach a thug how to fight. Then you just create a bigger thug.

These people need to go to jail. A real jail.
 
If this is the same incident I heard of on the radion, its not just teens searching for ''fun''. Its an attack on the jewish community.

The account I heard was jews are being targeted and when the victims have been helped they come back and put swastikas where they had been struck down.

While some on this forum I am sure are cheering these actions on, its wrong.

Who would be cheering this on ? Sometimes you do speak some nonsense.
 
it is so sad to me that kids and even young people today, so many of them, do not have a concept of right and wrong. so many grow up in broken homes with no behavior standards to speak of. so they do whatever they want and whatever they can get away with.
 
wow i hadn't heard of this i search for it on the www there's a bunch of stories from the mainstream news,cbs,cnn,nytimes ect.,,,how sad to see youngsters doing this,,,,

You are right. One was Jewish yesterday. I hadn't heard all were. I know if I
recall, most are of white race being hit. I include Jewish in white race. It is unreal
like demonic possession. And if anyone is cheering because Jewish are being targeted,
shame on them. Not only that we can expect the Christians to be targeted. I had
not heard they came back to mark where they hit. Oh, man.. this is sick ~ God Bless ~
 
I asked my husband about this (he is in law enforcement) and he said that this is not a new thing. It has been going on for over 2 years now and is only getting worse. As far as he knows, the thugs are not targeting any individual group, they are just looking for any person that looks like a good target. It saddens me so much that things have gotten this bad in our society. We just have to be vigilant and cautious when we are out in public and keep praying about this awful "game".

SS. I disagree. For one thing the jails and prisons are overly crowded now.
I believe good men are giving up their lives fighting wars that really hasn't
been good to those whose lives are taken and limbs lost.

If these 'thugs' were made to go to Military, go through basic training right
there, is a good start in punishment. Then send them into war zone. Let them
get a taste of their own medicine. An eye for an eye ~ This is ridiculous and
we are watching guys on the news harming innocent people here in USA and
we are supposed to house them in jail and prison where they get to eat 3 meals
a day, watch TV, get free health care, etc. In the mean time we have the
men and women in Military who need relieved. At least there are still some good
men and women left in our Country.

Do I think all are perfect ? No I do not. I know things go on in Military we would
not want to have to hear about. But many are there due to the fact they have
to be. In the meantime... Thugs who are of age, are doing what ? ???

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to expound on why I said they should
not be in jail, and why they should be sent to Military ~

Exactly ~ they call it a game. Why ? Did they sit in front of the Computer too long ?
As a Priest said on Fox, ( I paraphrase ) there seems to be a loss of regards for
human life. It appears they truly have lost ( if they ever had it ) the knowledge
that these people will be hurt or killed. It doesn't matter to them what happens.
Go on to the next victim. And you are right.... Be aware of your surroundings.
But, do you recall seeing the victim just walking down sidewalk and out of no where
they are hit? This morning said one who survived, he did not want to be identified,
his facial bones were broken. This makes me so sick to my stomach literally. God
bless you and bless your husband for doing his duty to protect us. ~
 
from every news story I have seen it has been a group of black thugs targeting non blacks. also most of the attacks are in liberal controlled cities and states (you know those states and cities where guns are bad, defending yourself is bad).

those thugs wanna come here and try this crap, we have no problem taking care of them. only thing a cop will be needed for is to call for the coroner

Wow ...from the looks of your profile, I would not want to be in a pack of thugs....
Seriously, I knew what you said in beginning about the white being attacked. I did
not want to word it that way because I was afraid of being called a racist again.
Anyway.... These are last days, and can expect pretty much anything. However,
when we think we have seen it all, something worse comes up. Jesus is no wimp.
He took a lot upon Himself for us. If ever the Lord can get through to even one
of these guys, and they give their life to Christ, then and only then will one who
is guilty feel remorse. So we must pray for their souls as well as those innocent.
Amen ?

I have no idea why they think it is a "game". People have died because of what they are doing and they do not care, they find it funny. I hate to say this but, I think a lot of it has to do with how these "children" are raised. The morals that were taught to me as a child are not as prevalent in many homes today. I am a teacher and I see the lack of good morals day after day. But, we also know that times are going to get harder and harder. I just keep my faith in God and know that my life is in His hands. And, thank you for the blessings. My husband and I often joke about our career choices. We are both public servants but, in such opposite ways.............there is no way I could do his job and there is no way he could do mine.

I see where you're coming from, but if you want to be very scared, read up on gangs and the military. Thugs of age shouldn't be sent there, and in fact felons are not allowed in the military for very good reason. We should make prison harsher and stop overcrowding the prisons with petty drug charges. People need to be taught that actions have consequences. Harsh, life altering consequences.

Once upon a time, any gang activity and you were not allowed into the armed forces. With all of our proxy wars we keep fighting (for oil, terrorism isn't the real reason), we had to expand the pool to continue to draw from willing applicants. There were increasing instances of gang tagging in the middle east - tags from US street gangs.

The gang bangers went and joined the military to learn how to be better bangers when they got back to the US. Do you ever watch any of the prison documentaries? One of the inmates on Lock down actually studies Tsun Tzu and the like because (and I'll never forget these words because they were scary to watch) they had "righteous game." He read their material for the same reason he read medical texts - to learn how to be a better killer.

Sending a person with violent tendencies into the military is like throwing gasoline on a fire. You've just taught them how to play the knock out game and win every single time. When they get back home, they will be anxious to use their new skills.

I want good men and good women in the military or I don't want them at all. I heard it said best when a friend told me why he felt that those in WWII were called the greatest generation. It was because you had an entire army of good men who were willing to sacrifice it all to protect those who were stateside. It is unfortunate that we send some of the finest our country has to offer overseas, but it is the best way to ensure that the knowledge they gain is not abused.
