This is a good place to pick the skill back up. Some good people here. Then there are some that will help you grow a thicker skin... Pretty much a well-rounded mix here.
If I may suggest, stick to singles, miscellaneous and family forums. Bible discussion forum has a lot of people who are masters at argument and insult. Conspiracy forum is... Well, it's full of conspiracy theorists. Christian news forum is like Bible discussion forum but with less scripture quoting.

Hello mister 17 Bees so lovely to be interacting with you in this New Year which I hope is going smoothly for you so far and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas also with loved ones... About a month ago I did discover an AI generator that is free and with lots of experimentation and tweaking was able to get some lovely images, which are not in the format I prefer because they are square and I prefer a 4 x 6 Format as I design in 8 X 12 at 300 pixels per inch ... the images that I am generating aren't that large but I can stretch them out enough without them showing pixalization or blurring and because I'm going for an arty look to begin with they don't need to be as sharp like you would want a photograph to be. And then on the women that I'm generating, because I've generated lots of flowers and some landscape type things... but with the women then I overlay a real face and I have the AI hair and the torso and shoulders etc that I like and I just overlay a real person's face (that is Evangeline Lilly who was a character in Lost that I was warching a while back... I have done that a fair bit taken up an actress or a singer and used their face because they are in the public domain also) who I have done a whole new series of welcomes with a variety of different florals and backgrounds I generated... which is what I've been doing for the last few years anyway and then maybe overlay different eyes over top of the new face ha ha. Sometimes I do that because the eyes of the face are looking away and I prefer the eyes of my quote/unquote model to be gazing at the viewer And in fact-finding a eyes at the right angle has been one of the greatest challenges in all of this all along but the explosion of AI images a couple of years ago has really helped me collect more facial features to use in my compositions although eyes are often not that great and it seems impossible to get a proper five fingered hand. In fact some of my models if I said holding a bouquet of flowers would have a third arm holding the bouquet or one had both of her hands folded demurely in her lap and then there was a third hand peeking out of one of the sleeves LOL. The AI generator itself is connected to one of the sites where I've been collecting a lot of my bits and pieces the last couple of years which is pixabay and they offer probably millions of images for people to use that are released to the public domain and you don't need to give attribution for them.
@bsinseaford - I watched this old movie over the holidays that I've seen before, but this time taught me a real lesson. The movie was Jeremiah Johnson. There was this part where a family of homesteaders were attacked by indians and the husband and about 2 or 3 other children were murdered. The point of this segment was when Jeremiah helped the woman bury her family and try to take care of their broken home and the one remaining child - a young boy.
The woman, however, was "touched". What an intertsting word that was. Jeremiah told the woman that the indians would no longe harm her or her child "....on account of she was toukched". This meant that the woman had lost her mind. She would howl a death ridden horrorfying cry at night and cut herself during the day. After burying her family she followed Jeremiah as he was leaving and stopped him to hand her last child over to him for his care. She didn't speak. She was past that. She handed him the child and when he objected she showed him in a desperate and quick but unholy look that she had already passed any care.
I was touched by your posts of having a stressed day and of realizing how work had encompassed your life. Robbed you of whole pieces of living. Deprived you of a reasonble interaction with other people. Even disabled you to do or even remember the things you might enjoy. And I think of you as "touched". Not in the severe way of the homesteader woman, but as a sojourner of the meek as most all of us are here. A man crying out in the night mountain.
But just as this woman, consider it pure joy whenever facing these many trials knowing that your faith produces perseverence and perseverence produces character and through your character is hope (Romans 5:3-5). And so begin right here at CC to begin your rebuild if you want. People talk about practically everthihg here. Even reach out now and then.
