Letting your kid wear something like that is just so wrong.....kids do not even understand what sexuality is at that age.
I would like to share my opinion.
I believe something like this is a big, forward step. Ever since we are born, we are instantly given labels. Boy. Girl.
When you're born a boy, you're expected to like girls, grow up to like dinosaurs or cars or sports, etc. When you're born a girl, you're expected to like boys, and grow up to like clothes or princesses or dolls.
You have no say. You are given a label and are expected to follow it just because that's how it's been for hundreds of years. And if you stray from the identity associated with that label, you are a pariah.
Kids who grow up to be different from what is expected of them spend most of their adolescent lives thinking something is wrong with them. They grow up thinking they're broken while everyone else is normal. They wish they had been born normal like very one else.
But the fact is, there's nothing wrong with them. There's everything wrong with the way people think, with the way they think, the way people are still being conditioned to think.
When you force an identity onto someone, it's like forcing a shirt onto them. It might be too big, it might be too small, it might be itchy. That shirt was made for a specific group of people. But that's the only shirt there is. Only that handful of people get to fit perfectly fine into the shirt while everyone else is miserable. The group who fits fine in the shirt looks at all the people who don't and see how funny they look in the shirt, and will say things like "Lose weight," or "Gain weight," "Change as much as you can about yourself so that you can fit the shirt and look just like us, but don't change the shirt."
This is where the problem lies. And this is why I think we need something like this. And I am glad there is finally a place like this that is more well-known, where people can be themselves and not worry about expectations at such a young age.

Letting your kid beat the crap out of another kid just because of something they're wearing is pretty ridiculous too.
Also, let me clarify, this is not a matter of sexuality or gender identity. This is a matter of what these kids want to do. It is their choice to dress the way they do or act the way they do. They may not know what the reason for it is, but what matters is that they're doing it, and it's not hurting anyone. It may hurt themselves, but that is why we must teach people that there is nothing wrong with dressing in a way that makes you happy.
Not a war. Just a political movement for the minorities to reach equality with the majorities, and not by bringing the majorities down to their level but by bringing themselves up.
This isn't about you. It's about them.

That's my only point......It's one thing when someone chooses that path for themselves.....but children don't even experience sexual attraction that young.....how could they possibly know their orientation? I think in cases like these, it's the parents trying to force the identity onto the child. I don't hate gay people at all, but "forcing shirts" like this onto kids is far worse than anything the adults might disagree on. There was also a recent court case won about a 6 year old boy (as in has male genitals) who was "transgendered" and the case was about that childs right to use the girls restroom. How can a 6 year old possibly know they are "transgendered" at that age? That's what forcing identity onto someone is

Heterosexuality can't be all that bad..since it allows for the continuance of the species and all..
This isn't a huge step forward, this is a quantum leap back. Encouraging kids to be something they aren't..that isn't helping them be themselves, it's helping warped parents live out maybe not having the gender child they want.
If you want a little girl and you can't have one naturally then adopt one, plenty out there. There isn't any need to make your child into something YOU want that THEY are not.
This looks like a bunch of wanna be honey boo boo parents who ended up with boys.
