Thank you so much for your honest, thoughtful response. Also, your English is just fine! Just to clarify, our son was the one who stopped talking to us after the fight. He was trying to figure out how to talk to us about not being Christian and becoming "bi". From our standpoint the silent treatment wasn't going to be tolerated very long, but from a neutral standpoint it's understandable why he needed that time. My husband said he was going to force the conversation if the silent treatment went on longer than a week. When our son finally said he wanted to talk to me and brought it all out to light, he expected me to kick him out of the house. I actually didn't respond with much right away. All I told him was that I needed some time to think through everything he just said and that I wasn't going to kick him out of the house. It did take me a couple days to emotionally calm down, but he understood I was going to discuss it with him again.
My husband and I have discussed both sons' circumstances with each other many times over, he's reached his limit. I can't get into what he does for work, but a big reason he no longer has the mental capacity to talk about it is because the stress levels at work are extreme where every day is a crisis. His words "I'm not allowed to be human." Since we're pretty much at an impasse with it all, we've concluded that only prayer is what can be done right now. Our elder son has seen a therapist in the past and he told me it was a waste of time. At this time he's OK. He's staying busy with work and trade school and is doing really well. If he gets through the rest of school and passes his certification exams, he'll e starting is career mid next year or early the following year. It's a positive thing that's kept him from devolving. I've offered our youngest to see a counselor when he was showing signs of depression but he sees no value in it. He's been doing positive activities apart from gaming, so at least he's not on the computer all day every day. Once college starts back up that should keep him busy on a full-time basis.

You're right, the teen years are very tough to navigate. So many changes are being thrown at them all at once. That's why we're giving them both time to mature. That said, I'm not so sure the unnatural sins are just a phase. Time will tell and may God miraculously show up in their lives to turn their hearts to Christ. That is my hope and prayer.
Thank you for your kind words in the begining, I´m glad that even though a little languague barrier exists from my side, that you felt that I was coming from a place of compassion.
After reading this, I am sincere that things will become better.
Sometimes all we need is bit of hope and time.
I keep your family in my prayers tonight and wish you the very best from the bottom of my heart.
May God grant you, your husband and your kids the peace you deserve for loving each other and not giving up on each other.
Stay strong Mama,
you got this!
God gave you all the courage to work through it all!

What happens to someone who is your child who does not listen to you is not your fault. we live in a world where we think our children are safe. The day you left them in a school with other children not your own, they will be shaped by that community of children. By teachers and adults who you would not see eye to eye.

Media and content they come through will change their beliefs as well. It's not your fault. You did what you thought was best for your children. Wash your hands of the responsibility. Leave it in Jesus' hands. They are old.

Love your children. Pray for them. Live an exemplary life. Stop talking to your elder son. Don't stop loving him. Stop trying to change him. It's God's fight. Not yours.

You did your part. It's time for you to put your mind to rest. Live a fulfilling life in Christ. Thank our Lord Jesus and continue to live your life. You still have a long ways to go. God has more blessings to shower on you and your family.

Don't lose faith in Jesus. Go forward and live everyday of your life. Leave this fight to God. Accept what has happened. And hope that tomorrow God will work miracles in your life.

Nothing is impossible of Jesus. But you have to trust in Jesus. Surrender to Jesus in prayer and go live your life. God bless you and family

Thank you for your thoughts and encouragement. Jesus is my rock, every morning prayers include making it through the day. Even though it may seem like there's peace in our house (we're not yelling and fighting), there isn't. It's silent, spiritual warfare. Even with leaning on Jesus, trying to live a fulfilling life is difficult at best since our sons still live with us. I don't know how else to describe it except it's like living a double life. I've always been an open book to my loved ones, what you see is who I am, and that's part of what kills me inside. I can no longer be that lest our family gets even more torn apart. Little by little I try to give it up to God and then oddly enough I just happen to "find" something more damning about one or both of them. There's no doubt God leads me to this stuff but finding it twists the knife more. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Him for anything. The Bible says be sure your sins will find you out, so these little bread crumbs over the last year are fulfillment of that where our sons are concerned. It just hurts in a traumatic way in the process. Thanks again for your kind words and God bless you as well.
