One must remember that in those time the days and nights were diffrent. 6pm was the start of the new day....Not to mention as long as he got up thats wll that matters

The trouble is, it doesn't work. This only adds up to three days and two nights, not three days and three nights.
Also, John 20:1
tells us that "on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb."
Did you catch the problem here? John tells us it was still dark when Mary went to the tomb on Sunday morning and found it empty. Jesus was already resurrected well before daybreak. Thus He wasn't in the tomb any of the daylight portion of Sunday, so none of that can be counted as a day.
Also, John 20:1

The main problem is less arithmetic than idolatry. We have chosen to worship tradition over Jesus. That’s much more tragic than bad math.

i do not believe for a minute our lord jesus christ was buried on friday in any shape or form...
here is a photo from jerusalem at early dawn with no lights... just nature itself... so yes... i can see why god chose the word dark on an early morning resurrection...

If you guys want to:get technical. He would have had to been biried thursday night and arisen on Sunday morning. 3 days 3 nights. But oh God is good!
The Only Proof Jesus Gave that He Is Our Savior!
We’re on the verge of seeing another stone rolled away, a stone that is blocking our understanding. We as the body of Christ must understand the all-important timing of the resurrection. Without grasping this we cannot confirm that Jesus is our Savior.
First notice the timing of the burial, a key factor since once we know when the burial occurred, we have a simple math problem to calculate. We add 72 hours to the time of burial. Jesus was buried as the Sabbath was about to begin (Luke 23:44-46,54). It had not begun, so He was buried just before sunset on the day before the Sabbath. Which Sabbath?
When did the women return and prepare the spices? No timing is given in this verse. That’s where Mark 16:1-2 comes in: “When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.”
Reading both passages in Mark and Luke, the only possible conclusion comes clear. Here we have women who see Jesus’ body laid in the tomb just before sunset ushers in the annual Sabbath.
They would not be able to buy spices and have time for the elaborate preparation of these ointments for burial purposes that night or the next, since it was a Sabbath and all shops were closed. They could only make these purchases and do these preparations on the day after the Sabbath, which Mark 16:1 confirms.
But Luke 23:56 says they prepared the spices before the Sabbath. God is not a liar and does not contradict Himself. They certainly did not buy their spices before and after the same Sabbath.

Scripture also provides further proof that there were TWO Sabbaths that week-an annual and a weekly one. In Mark 15:47, Mary Magdalene and her companion watched Joseph of Arimathea lay Jesus in the tomb near the end of the Passover. The next verse, Mark 16:1, tells us that after the “Sabbath,” Mary Magdalene and her companions bought spices with which to anoint Christ’s dead body. However, Luke 23:56 shows that they prepared the spices before the Sabbath. Naturally, they couldn’t have prepared spices before they were even bought!
The only explanation that makes sense is that they bought the spices on Friday and prepared them the same day-after the annual Sabbath on Thursday and before the weekly Sabbath on Saturday! Then they rested on the weekly Sabbath-at the end of which Jesus was resurrected. The next morning, Sunday, they came to the tomb before sunrise and found him already gone.

He was buried at/about sunset on Wednesday and arose at/ about sunset Saturday (the weekly Sabbath).
