This is all true.

So you are disbelieving what God said for the sake of man-made traditions?

Wow, this is not at all ok!
This is what some versions do which we should steer clear from.
Knowingly, changing the word of God brings on dire consequences, according to God in Rev. 22.

“For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
You miss my point I was responding to what others in this forum are doing. I was told the simple statements of scripture were not meaning the simple meaning and an alternative understanding had been offered. For someone who defends truth you seem very willing to take things out of context.

I didn’t alter anything! Lol

So more specifically, what am I taking out of context?

Ok, maybe my bad, I apologize! Sometimes it gets a bit too garbled between threads.

That does not tell us how our human spirit gets regenerated.

That tells us how our spiritually dead soul and body that we had before salvation became regenerated.
And, that is only a part of the answer of what takes place.

Peter already knew that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, before Pentecost.
He had?
A human spirit.
Because?
He believed in the Lord God of Israel.
SPIRITUALLY dead in trespasses and sins. The soul ( mind, will and emotions ) needs no regeneration, just RENEWAL. Yes, Peter, by direct revelation from God, stated that Jesus was the Christ. But without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, did he really remember it? It is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that brings the things of God your remembrance. Remember the disciples, which included Peter, didn't remember Jesus feeding the 5,000 with five loaves and three fishes when He fed the 4,000 with seven fishes and a few fish? " For they considered (remembered) not the miracle of the loaves: FOR THEIR HEART WAS HARDENED." John 6:52. We further see this with the children of Israel when they repeatedly forgot the miracles that God did on their behalf, their hearts had become hardened, they didn't remember. Even after Jesus was raised from the dead, " And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him, BUT SOME DOUBTED." Matthew 28:17. They did no yet have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The error is yours. In the very same chapter, God spoke to Moses "face to face", yet the visible form was a pillar of cloud, that is a medium. Therefore, seeing the medium of God counts as meeting God "face to face", according to not me, but the scripture. Likewise, the man Abraham met and the man Jocob wrestled with were both mediums. The reason for mediums is given in Deut. 18:15-19, God the Father scared the Israelites to death, a relatable human medium is a necessity.

All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door. So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. (Ex. 33:10-11)

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’“ And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. (Deut. 18:15-19)
The people saw the cloud, Moses saw God in the cloud and on the mountain, face to face.

Peter did not have the indwelling Holy Spirit as a disciple. No one did until Pentecost.

OT believers could be filled with the Spirit as to enable them for a special work desired by God.
David prayed that the Lord would not take His Spirit from him. That was not the indwelling, but filling.

No, just the cloud, no man. If there were a man, that would be an angel, since angels appeared as men.
That answer doesn't make any sense. " And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the GLORY OF THE LORD APPEARED IN THE CLOUD(medium, according to you)." Exodus 16:10 " And the glory of the Lord abode upon the mount, Sinai, and the cloud covered it, six days: and the seventh day He called unto Moses OUT OF THE MIDST OF THE CLOUD." Exodus 24:16. God, not a medium, was IN the cloud. P.S. EXODUS 24:18 " And Moses went into the MIDST OF THE CLOUD (with God), and got him up into the mount: and Moses was IN THE MOUNT (with God) forty days and forty nights."

" And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon: for the THE GLORY OF GOD did lighten it, AND THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT THEREOF." Rev. 21:23. The Lamb, Word, Yeshua, Jesus IS the Glory of God, the same that was in the cloud.

Do you really believe it literally that no one can see God face to face and live? Yes or no? If yes, then it's all medium, according to not me, but the scripture, Ex. 33:20, which YOU quoted and thrown at me.

Do you really believe it literally that no one can see God face to face and live? Yes or no?

We, the Church, can see the face of God.
For we have died.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved
me and gave himself for me.

If you had read carefully, I never said that Peter had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit before Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. It seems that scripture refutes what you said about some OT saints not having the indwelling of the Spirit " Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is He that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of His flock? where is He THAT PUT HIS HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN him? Isaiah 63:11

The Father is not a man, the Son is. The Son is of flesh and bone dwelling among us, the Father is an all consuming fire high above in the heavens. Technically the Son is a medium too, but unlike all the previous mediums, He's also the embodiment and the incarnation of God.
