Was he not risen in flesh and bone? Or dissolved into ephereal spirit?Again, not what you were originally speaking of for He no longer has a flesh and bone body.

" For where two or three are gathered in my name, I (the Son) am there among them."
Was he not risen in flesh and bone? Or dissolved into ephereal spirit?
Was he not risen in flesh and bone? Or dissolved into ephereal spirit?
You need to stop thinking something that Scriptures says you should stop thinking. Was he not risen in flesh and bone? Or dissolved into ephereal spirit?
I would find that Christ had human DNA which would have come by way of Mary. From a discussion elsewhere I had about the nature of Sin...
I don't agree. Jesus' flesh and human spirit had no sin at all. Jesus was likely given Mary's DNA but without Joseph's DNA because Joseph would then have taken credit for a "Work" in producing Christ. Flawed Works had to be atoned for and could not produce Eternal Life. Jesus was Eternal Life and was the product of God's Work alone.
DNA can apparently produce defective combinations, but in Mary's case it appears that God "healed" any possible defects in the order of these chemical combinations and the state they were in. The flesh within her imperfect flesh was rendered perfect as far as Christ's being was concerned.
Because human Works are carried on through reproduction, all of mankind, except for Christ, have inherited a Sin Nature and cannot, apart from Christ's Grace, obtain Eternal Life. All of us inherit human DNA as well as a sin-infected human spirituality that disqualifies us from obtaining Eternal Life apart from Christ's Grace.
We all sin, even though through Christ our New Christian Nature may prevail over our Sin impulses--not perfectly but sufficient to show the Nature that we have chosen to reign in our lives. Inheriting human DNA means we inherit flawed Human Flesh. But the Sin is not in the fleshly flaws, eg diseases but rather in the spiritual corruption.
The flesh and the spirit are two separate things. Before we do any Sin we have already been born with a contaminated spiritual nature and will Sin as soon as we are able.
Again, the trial we undergo in life is in proving what Nature we wish to prevail--our New Nature from Christ, which desires to submit to Christ's Righteousness, or our carnal Nature, which wishes to make choices independent of God, even if at times those choices agree with God's choices.
The real battle is in choosing to partner with God *always,* because this proves what Nature we choose to have and to dominate in Eternity. It is not our Sin Nature that condemns us in Eternity. Rather, it is in our choice for Christ, producing a New Nature, or not.
You have to remember, the Word, who would later manifest as Jesus the Christ, is God and to say that God COULD NOT appear in flesh form before His incarnation means that it, to you, is/was impossible.Define "Christophany" first. Is it a vision of Christ that points to his future incarnation? Yes. Is it his visit in carnal form before his incarnation? No. You're guilty of "retcon" - retroactive continuity, i.e. the act, practice, or result of changing an existing narrative by introducing new information in a later work that recontextualizes previously established events, characters, etc.
You post repeatedly that 1 John scripture. Who has said that Jesus Christ didn't come in the flesh? Certainly not I. Are you saying that I am acting under the spirit of antichrist and in turn a false prophet? Well I can say that you, by claiming Jesus to be just a medium, are operating under the spirit of error instead of the Spirit of Truth. No, that's God the Father speaking through a medium. Again, 1 Jn. 4:1-3.
I agree with your post, except for one thing, God spoke, and people heard, Him say "this is My beloved Son" on two occasions. Matthew 3:17 and Matthew 17:5/Luke 9:35100% correct.
No one has ever seen the Father.
No one has heard the Father speak.
No one has ever known the Father.
John 3:35
The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.
John 5:37
And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.
John 14:7
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
John 14:9
Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has
seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’"?
The Father and Christ, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, dwells IN me, I am Their dwelling place, aren't you?He is now seated in heavenly places. Eph 2:6
The Church is his body... His wife.
The Bride of Christ is awaiting having an actual body to be given... In the Resurrection.
It is now the Holy Spirit who dwells amongst us.
Christ is the Word of God. John 1:1
Only in that manner He dwells amongst us.
grace and peace ..........
No problem. If we all could admit when we missed it maybe then there would be unity. That's big of you.Sorry for the misunderstanding...
Do you see Jesus as a Medium of the Father? No, that's God the Father speaking through a medium. Again, 1 Jn. 4:1-3.
Dwelling place. Sure. The Father and Christ, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, dwells IN me, I am Their dwelling place, aren't you?
Jesus Christ still has a flesh and bone body, albeit supernatural. When the disciples saw Jesus ascend into heaven in a cloud, " And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven AS HE WENT UP, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? THIS SAME JESUS, WHICH IS TAKEN UP FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN, SHALL SO COME IN LIKE MANNER, * AS YOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN." Acts 1:10-11. They saw Him go up in a physical, albeit supernatural, body and He will return in like manner. You need to stop thinking something that Scriptures says you should stop thinking.
Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer." 2 Corinthians 5:16
He is no longer to be seen as "a man" who was to substitute for us to die on the Cross!
He is now in a glorious Heavenly body.
One with all the fullness of God almighty in his being!
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority." Colossians 2:9-10
.......
Carrying on the tradition from Asherah, Isis, etc., etc., but I know some true Catholic believers and won't throw out the baby with the bath water.According to the Catholic church Mary was sinless.
According to the bible she was not sinless.
There are female pagan god's that form the beliefs of the Catholic Church.
So they need to make Mary a God..
It is baptised paganism.
No one will be evaluated with their doctrine, all will be evaluated with their work.Among them. Via the filling of the Spirit and knowledge of the Word.
And, no more among them than sound doctrine prevails.
And when he returns, he shall return in the same materialized, glorified body. When Jesus first rose from the grave he was not yet glorified.
He became glorified only after He ascended back to Heaven before the Father.
He now has a glorious body.... not a body of the dust of the earth.
But now a body of Heaven.
A very real body. Just like materialized angels have real bodies.
The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man." 1 Corinthians 15:47-49.
The new body in our resurrection is still a terrestial body suited for earthly life, as long as our resurrection takes place not in heaven, but on earth. He was risen bodily but He was given a new body in His ascension. I already showed you the scriptures that say this and how we shall be given a new type of body in our resurrection.
