Hi, this was a thought on my mind recently and I wanted to hear other's thoughts on it.
I know in the bible that King David son, Solomon asked the Lord for Wisdom and I've hear people say how foolish Solomon was for having that many wifes and concubines. And how God's temple was being disrespected by false gods in His temple.
Anyway, my thought is...
Doesn't it take a fool to know wisdom?
Doesn't it take a storm to know peace?
Doesn't it take darkness to know light?
So, didn't Solomon unwise chooses lead him to know the opposite of an unwise action is wisdom
So does that mean God give us the things that we ask for through a process that leads to the answer outcome? Like asking for patience, ect...
Just something to think about I supposed.
Please let me know you're thoughts with scriptures
