Was the crucifixion that Jesus endured the worst possible suffering a human could experience?

Yes. He did it for you and me so we could be cleansed from our sin and live forever with Him.

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Correct. The important thing about Jesus' death was that He shed perfect blood...

Hebrews
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

It was also important that they observe His risen body on the third day.

Hi :) question.. why do you deserve eternal suffering in Hell? I think we need to look back into what Jesus promised to those that believe in Him vs those that do not. I mean the words. He only promised those that believe in Him eternal life not those that do not :)

Anyway for me I can't look at Christ as if He was just a man. Lol He was yet He is God. He took away the sin of the world. He took the place of every man/woman to the cross. He didn't just come in the flesh and get wiped then nailed to the cross and then in the earth preach to them to then rise again AMEN with many of those that were died and then poof back to heaven as if nothing happened. It cost Him something. He didn't just die for one person but every one that would ever live.

Countless got nailed to a cross. We will not truly understand all this till its over. Only a GOD could do what He did
