Greetings RoboOp!

Hope you had a nice Christmas! I saw the posting regarding the new way to tell if a posting party is either male or female by a color code appearing by or on their name or someplace else. That is a GREAT idea and am glad to see it implemented! Thanks!

Another concern I have that may be helpful to many is to perhaps be able to just place the cursor over a Country's Flag and be able to tell which country they are from! There are some flags used here that are not immediately recognizable. This would avoid others having to leave their posting if they are unsure and go into that person's About Me page to check for their country of origin. Could this be implemented? Thank you in advance for your help in this matter!

I just did a small test concerning the phrase used to indicate that an "Edit" had been done. In this case no edit was done except to see if it would still generate an 'editing dialogue'. It did.

Having said that, in my test I also looked for a way to change the TITLE of my posting. I found that even though I went into editing mode I could not change the Title. It appears to stay there permanently once it has been assigned to the posting. Is there a way to Edit the Title when one uses the Edit process?

One more thing on that while I'm on the subject. I know the current time limit for editing is only Five minutes. Sometimes when one needs to edit, the system may be slower than usual and the five minutes does go by very fast! I know many other forums give one up to 15-30 minutes to edit their posts once made and I know of at least two that have absolutely no time limit at all. And 15 minutes for that on this forum would be truly great but as a compromise, if you cannot assign at least 15 minutes, what about changing it to at least 10 minutes to make the needed changes? At least that way if there were computer problems, etc. one would not have to just discard the needed changes, as I have heard that the admins. do not normally like to change things if one requests a change after the 5 minutes are up. The longer time limit would sure help in this matter! And as I said, 15 minutes would be great as that too goes by mighty fast! Thanks again.
 
Not all people are using the flag of their country. For instance I saw someone using the flag of Georgia (in the Caucasus) though he actually was an american. He probably liked it because it has 5 crosses on it. The location on a profile should be directly related to the flag used for your suggestion to work.​

That may be an exception where someone liked that particular flag because of the crosses as you say. But by and large I believe most people do use their country's flag or if they are in the U.S. they still may use the flag of their native country or vice-versa and I feel it would be so much better to have a way to just pass the mouse or curser on or over that particular flag and at least get an idea of what country they are from or what country's flag they are using.

I think if the admin. or web designer could just use a program where one would simply point their cursor over the flag and the admins. would have their own "All-country KEY of flags" at their end where the country being pointed to would pop up at our end e.g,. just to show "Spain", "Germany", "Sweden", "England", etc. that would solve what I am suggesting. It does not necessarily have to be the true place where they live or are from but just to know what flag they are using.
