I have some questions for you friend Okay so as I was reading where you stand, it sounds to me and please correct me if im wrong, but it seems you are talking about two different things? The question at hand, in my mind, is , is the Moral law of God still binding on us today, but it seems you are talking about the law being a way of salvation,.? is this correct or am I totally missing the mark here? lol

The Moral Law hangs upon Love. So, the question, "is the Moral law of God still binding on us today" can simply be answered by this, "Are we to love"? And the answer is a resounding, "YES". We please God through love (agape = love of esteem), not flesh.

The Law is by no means a way to salvation, seeing that the Law has death as its reward. Jesus is the Way and we are told to follow Him. As I follow Him, He shows me God's ways and those ways are fulfilled through love.

I ask myself, "Do I follow Him because I fear that death from the Law or do I follow Him because He is the Deliverer from that condemnation. I put my confidence in Him because His reward is everlasting life.

I repeat, if I follow the Law as a means of my righteousness (justification from that death) then I have no one to save me from Hades, seeing that it would take Christ to die once again to deliver me from what He already came to deliver me from.

Love causes no harm. We have been liberated from works by the Lord of Sabbath. Love fulfills the will of God. But, the one who seeks to live by the Law will only receive that which God has attached to it as its reward: death.

This is so clear, and it tells so well what scripture tells us. Yet I read that if you understand one part of what this clear repeating of scripture says, it means that it cancels out another part! It is as if demons get into people's minds.

The law is love in action. If you follow love, you follow law, it is all one. Cfultz explains this so well!

Salvation is something only God can do, man can't do it. That is truth. That truth stands on its own, it has nothing to do with law. Why some people connect the two only the demons can know.

honestly this is all it is, no extras or ands it's just receive christ and your salvation, experience the new birth, experience the change in your life because of the spirit of christ and surrender to the cross and spirit daily, nothing else but that God is what makes us righteous not follow anything we must yield to the righteousness of christ instead of trying to be self righteous, your not suppose to try not to covet or try not to steal your suppose have the love in you that prevents you from doing those things automactically not by trying and when we surrender to the cross daily we filfull the love of God which enables us to walk the right path

Yes, the 9 commandments are a part of the law but so was the command to keep the sabbath. Christ's death changed everything. We are not under the law but we are under grace.

So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. Gal.3:24

At Christ's death the curtain separating the Holy of Hollies was ripped in two. The presence of God left the temple and now we are the temple of God. Christ was the last sacrifice God accepted and there is no need to sacrifice animals. Circumcision of the foreskin is now a circumcised heart (ie the new man). Christ's death changed the law.
