MY BELOVED SPIRITUAL BROTHERS & SISTERS. WHAT IS THE BIBLICAL ATTITUDE THAT WE SHOULD HAVE? PRAYING TO JESUS LORD TO FILL US WITH THEE ALWAYS OR TO REALIZE THAT GOD HAS ALREADY DONE EVERYTHING FOR US AND THAT IT'S NOW OUR TURN TO GIVE OURSELVES TO GOD, THAT IT IS NOW OUR PRECIOUS ABBA JESUS WHO NEEDS OUR LOVE AND FOCUS?

Without Jesus I'm nothing, Jesus without me still is Jesus.

Good answer Agape! I think we should all try our hardest to live the best we can for our Lord, though. He deserves ALL our love and focus for everything he has done for us. We are so lucky to have such a great God!

I agree Ashkuhn. We must do all our best in the cause of Christ and we must know that serve the Lord is a pleasure. I know that this pleases the Lord Jesus too but He don't "need" us to serve Him, He is the Almigthy Everlasting God, Lord and Creator of all the things. We are less than dust without Jesus, on the other hand Jesus still remains Jesus, certainly affected when you and me got astray, but still Jesus, still Almighty, still God.
Peace be with you. I love y'all.

Probably both...

Romans 6:13 instructs us to offer ourselves to God

Ephesians 1:15-21 is a prayer that Christians be filled with more of the power of God

In most partnerships both parties very much need and rely on each other but the special thing about the partnership we share with our abba father is that he needs nothing, yet he displays his fantastic love for us through jesus christ and they are just words-so much bigger.
Often we pray to god to be part of our plans, our ministries and our church events or we spend alot of time asking god for his strength and guidence...
It is his planet, we are his, the church is his and its not about us or our story or what we can do as its HISTORY and as he has done so much already which words cannot describe we should always be thanking him for things like strength and guidence obviously while abiding and following him rather than asking like theres nothing there in the first place-heck i need to remind myself of this daily as im so quick to get fleshy and religious.
God has met us half way already in so many ways so its now our turn to make a move- to no longer wait for suitable conditions before we step out of the boat and as his kids this is an amazing journey
No wonder we are under renovation until jesus returns-amazing is his grace

ACTS 17: 24-27

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heavens an earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and pearhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being."

Love y'all
