It's been a while since I've posted here, so I thought I'd give y'all a quick update.

Good news: I've lost close to 30 pounds since I started this weight-loss/health journey in January. Whoohoo! I already feel so much better. My face looks thinner, and hopefully other things do, too, lol. I can't wait to keep shedding weight.

Also, I feel so much healthier. I feel so grateful that God - I believe - led me to this program through a friend. I'm eating so much better than I had been.

I've also started trying other new things. Someone introduced me to kombucha, a fermented tea you can make at home for really cheap. It's supposedly got a lot of health benefits. I've just started making my own batches, so we'll see what happens -- but so far, I like it!

I just want to say there have been some days where I felt like throwing in the towel when the pounds didn't come off as quickly as I wanted, or when I gained some back, but I am always so happy that I've stuck to it once my body starts losing again. So if you're in the same boat, keep on trucking! You can do this.

Aside from the physical weight loss, I've also been going to a small group for several weeks to heal from the past and shed my emotional/soul baggage. It's helping!

So, basically, I'm excited about all that God's doing in my life and how He's helping me get rid of physical weight and emotional heaviness. Praise God!

Now, I just have to stay focused and keep pressing to the goal. Eye of the tiger! lol.

congrats!! It's empowering isn't it! My sister has always had struggles. I inherited our dad's body type and she inherited our mom's. I know you can succeed because I've seen it done. Keep it up and walk in health. My love and understanding.
