So I'm excited to start a blog! God bless everyone! The scripture which has been impressed on my heart as of late is 1 co 8:1. Knowledge builds arrogance (or pride or puffs up) but love edifies! So in the case of biblical studies and explanations and exegesis, it is all well and good but must be rooted in firm application of love in action. If you learn something, does it teach you to love better? If yes great! If no, well next time go learn stuff that will teach you to love better!
reminds me of a wise woman who told me about Jesus as the great medicine.
certianly he is good, but for babies you do not shove a bottle of medicine down their throat. You gently crush a small small peice, put it in milk and nurse the baby lovingly. So too the truth should be presented in a gentle way, but it should never be compromised. Indeed it should be convicting but in full gentleness. There are also people who have been called to present a bold and loud gospel which will greatly antagonize those who love darkness. But we all have differ roles in Gods kingdom as we are all part of the body of Christ, therefore some speak boldly some gently, all pray for God's will, and some do not speak at all, but rather in submissive humility, gentleness and prayer, with boldness of spirit intercede against the spiritual darkness and oppression that seem to silence the mouthpieces of God.
many new believers who have felt the enlightenment of God will be eager to speak, but of course James 1:19 tells us how the mature in faith should be.
rather as we grow and mature, we minster the river of living waters with all love joy peace , gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self control, and patience. Especially to the little lambs who can be easily startled. But for the wolves, who seek to devour, we must take a stand and ask Holy Spirit to provide the appropriate words to admonish God's severity that they would see that their evil hearts and intentions are made clear, all while taking care not to scare the lambs! Oh dear lol! It is difficult but doable by the grace of God!
On politics: God has impressed upon the the utter insignificance of this election. What will come to pass will pass, and surely the world will come to an end (no jokes on who would be better at accelerating that lol). We have one vote among millions and one voice among millions. With my vote I shall cast it for one of two candidates neither of which I perceive to fear God.
The more important thing is we have one voice, and with it I shall proclaim Jesus, detaching myself completely from all political agenda and rather focusing on our eternal kingdom. I don't want to discuss laws which are made by the people who are of the world and do not fear God, in the end, the world will hate God more and more, it is inevitable and I will not work to make the world love God. Rather I will work to make the children of God whom he knew and predestined to be sons of God to love God and live within the world as lights! My concern is for individuals not the world as a whole, or the people as a whole. I'm not trying to cure cancer or invent new forms of comfort or medications to stop disease. God will take care of each individual case to his glory ! With my prayer in some without it in some! I'm trying to put in the heart of man an imperishable hope in the enternity that awaits us beyond the glorious door of death!
So I will always speak of Jesus, avoiding pointless chatter and debate, delighting in humor and jokes and good things, but avoiding pointless discussions as Paul wrote of the busybodies who engaged in gossip, and discussed pointless genealogies.
What at is gossip ? News meant to shock and entertain and have no bearing or relevance to Jesus which bring him glory and praise.
what is genealogy? A look back at historical records or attempts to study books, scripture and other sources to prove what we already knew to be true which is simply: Christ, son of David, Son of God, God in the flesh, came to abolish sin by his sacrifice , rose in victory resurrection, and delivered us who live by faith in the Son of God to the inheritance of enternal life. We are reborn of spirit and water and now have the Holy Spirit who leads us and teaches us in all things as we walk as lights unto the world, abstaining from even the pretense of evil and in all ways to the best of our ability a blameless testimony by word and deed to the glory of Christ of the salvation which was gifted to us and is available to all who call upon His name!
praise The Lord for His glory and his work and the grace he gives us each day to walk by faith and hear his voice and overcome temptations and push back darkness shining brightly as a light upon a hill for all to see that in us vessels of glory Chrjst would dwell his light shining, God in us that we bear testimony to His great name In faithful obedience till the day of Our Lord. Come Lord Jesus!
Another scripture which has has been a rhema for me is : Perfect love casts out all fear. The enemy and demons have been doing some rattling at night and in darkness threatening to make themselves known to me and devouring me, putting an irrational fear in me lol. Well they've been with me my whole life whispering lies to me , only exercising what authority they have which does not violate God's sovereign will which none can resist (as opposed to his will of command which we can resist) . So demons make shock me if they appear to me, but as much as they have desired to tear me apart even before I knew God, he has clearly forbidden it. This my fear is absolutely oration and brings me to laughter at the silliness of it all . Fear and doubt is all the enemy has, using it over and over again . Stopping for a moment , then going , trying to get us who live in the undulations of life to think as if we have shut them up or cast them out when they have full authority to walk with us for the entirety of our lives to attempt to deceive us.
dont get me wrong, the way I perceive the demonic world is this: demons are everywhere and sometimes dwell within us. Clearly the ones that dwell in us can be cast out, but there are demons of all sizes and powers of thrones and authorities. (All must obey Christ and have no power before him of course). Just as God keeps our heart being and our lungs working, so too the demons that have power to tear our limbs apart and cause boils in our flesh are kept from doing so by God's will and love.
but the little demons which I have personally experienced which have no power will say stuff like this:
look car, wow nice rich people, crack on the sidewalk, look stars , what's the name of that? A bird ! Go kill you self, step in front of that car, you got ugly teeth, don't talk to that guy he's a gangster he'll kill you, that guy will hurt you, she's a dirty ...., and on and on and one... Bombarding you with endless noise to distract you from focusing on the kingdom of God.
there are big ones too who have real power that they can prob hurt you bad or even give you and you feel invincible or can manipulate, lustful spirits too which can make women desire you, ect ect .... All sorts of power and principalities which walk in the spirit real right beside us unseen . The good stuff is there too! Angels! Protectors, guardians who act in perfect faith and praise God in perfect submission that the will of God will unhindered and acting in fullness through them to repel darkness.
I remember in reading in visions beyond the veil on account of the vision of an angel who fought by faith and praise the legions of demons who attacked him, the smaller ones stepping aside for the big ones to attack until finally the very hand of God stopped the attack and the demons all fled, gnashing their teeth.
so anyways ... Rambled quite a bit, summary : Perfect love casts out all fear, darkness and evil try to win through fear, intimidation, and doubt.
but we who live by faith do not doubt, and we who abide in perfect love have no fear
one day...
we will be free to love and experience the fullness of His love which is held in restraint until the day he can unleash it on us in pure ecstasy without obliterating us. There will be no evil to attack us that we need wisdom or knowledge or armor, only hugs ! And smiles , and jokes, and deep deep deep deep love. For no eye has seen or ear has heard or mind has conceived the good which God has prepared for those who love him! I could try to imagine it all I want ....
Friends leading me me to plains of joy and love which give me glorious breakthrough in my body as I am in utter bliss by the magnitude of His love, they call out to me come up ahead ... There is better yet ... I doubt this can be possible having experienced a love which trumps all which I have experienced or known about love... Yet I trust them and go.. And sure enough ... Exponentially better waves of love flood my being and I am paralyzed , imprisoned in the jail of love and unable to move, in pure ecstasy. They say to me come up ahead there is better still... Believing them fully and desiring to go I laugh and say: no no you go on ahead, I must stay here and learn to process this love before I go on! And yet still, to see the face of God... To feel his love , to see Jesus .... The source of the love which causes these plains of joy and love to so ravish me !
Well... It's gonna be way better than that.... Cause I imagined that...
