Thread for the lonely, saddened and distraught during the holidays....
I may be 30 and single, soon to be as sterile as a rock, childless, husbandless, no ounce of emotional intimacy, but hey atleast I have a cat to cuddle with and keep me company.

I want kittens playing in various Star Wars character helmets. I don't see why this is such an outlandish request,does anyone else?
When I was a kid I had a cat who was very playful. She easily entertained herself, but she especially loved to play with bugs or spiders.
One day I walk into the living room and I see a HUGE black spider. The cat (whom I named squishy) saw me and quickly put a paw on top of the spider. No big deal right? Well she accidentally killed the it and proceeded to throw a fit. She howled and batted at the spider trying to get it to move.
I got a kleenex and disposed of the spider. The cat followed me meowing and tangling herself in my feet. I'm pretty sure she was chewing me out for making her kill it.

I grew up on a farm and we had a few goats...it's not smiling....it't getting ready to bite.
awww.. im on squishy cute adorable cat overload!.. lol. Love love cats. Soon as one has a litter im so getting one. but to the OP. I know how you feel girl!
These were both my babies. They have both died since this picture was taken. I miss them dearly.

When I was a wee little feller, I had a cat named Tiptop whom I loved and petted and stroked and Tiptop went with me everywhere and was the center of my universe. And when I was riding to school and Tiptop was in my handlebar basket like always, I hit a pothole in the road and the jolt threw Tiptop into on-coming traffic....
Now look - this was just a drill. I think you all needed a little shock to get off this "why am I single, what's wrong with me, what can I do, what's biblical" funk you're all in. I didn't own a cat named Tiptop and I didn't have a bike with a basket. It was a hic up and sometimes you just have to go up behind somebody and flick their ear.
Now, I'm sorry it came to this, but please - lighten up folks! What's wrong with you?

I'm embarrassed to say this... Hi, my name's Lauren and I'm addicted to cats. In fact I've rescued 7 of them over the last 8 years. I'm all done adopting cats for a long while but I think this may be a serious obstacle/turn-off for most of the male population lol. Ah well!

I have a cat too but she has had more life experience than me. I got her from a shelter after she had kittens. She's more outgoing than I am and I fear that my cat will get married before I do. (Having a sad fantasy of being a bride's maid at a cat's wedding and sitting for dinner at the table with all of the kittens)
