Now I wish I had left the voting open so you could see who voted what, but when I created the thread, I didn't want people to be scared to vote - privacy and all...

On the other hand, the conspiracy community, albeit herein obviously relatively few in number, may nevertheless be representative in the views and belief system of its much wider and larger demographic. This would challenge the idea that limited numbers of person making representations is automatically a sampling error which should have no signficant value. This assertion by Rachel would therefore be simplistic, problematic, and should not be given so much weight.

On a related poll to this, out of 36 people 22 (61%) said the attack on 9/11 on the US Twin Towers was not an inside job. I think this, if anything, would be sampling error. Dependent upon the persons who vote on that poll will probably determine the current poll result. Moreover, if similar populations who voted on the last poll vote on this one, it is morely likely than not the case the results will reflect it, too. Unless the views are of a wide representation to fairly accommodate the 'thinking' conspiracy demographics it will not be statistically significant.

Hmmmmm. What I think you are saying is that there are "lies, damned lies, and statistics". Right?
Well statistics are meant to get as close as possible to the truth. The problem is data is very restricted and not reliable. So yes statistics can be mis-represented. The average means nothing really. An averagely performed college graduate does not indicate his relative performance to his peers, it is just a grade to put people into boxes, you might say.

I think that in many cases, the statistical result can be influenced by who is collecting the data. There can usually be found some convenient excuse to dispose of unfavourable data. Vaccine efficacy and related studies probably provide a good number of examples of this process.

so you're left with the indoc'd west basically...people subjected to indoctrination i've never seen the likes of.
day after day week on month on year of the mantras...when you hear the talking heads all using the same buzz-terms over and over....you know it's a brainwashing op.
the first thing we learn at Univ (media) - repetition. keep repeating. keep it simple. make it stick.
i guess the remedy is to keep repeating the holes in the story. until something clicks.
as you know, once you wake up, the whole thing dissolves. the trance is broken and it's obvious.

I'm not sure the system can be defeated from within the system. Even if it could be defeated from within, TPTB don't play by the rules. From vote rigging to assassination, we are at a distinct disadvantage.
And to defeat the system from without would require something like a revolution, and I'm not sure that would be pleasing to God. So I'm not sure what the next stage of the game is when people begin to see the truth, and I'm sure they will begin to see the truth eventually. Perhaps, when people see the hopelessness of the situation, many will turn to Jesus?

well, when they see the depth and magnitude of it, and that it's a long term plan, it's harder to attribute it all to just some people during some period of time. the accidental view of history becomes impossible to hold to.
once that illusion is gone....well, hopefully we are there with the Gospel and the truth of Christ.
ppl sure do testify they had no idea of the depth of the depravity of man...this is also a good step.

Going through the dates, it seem in 2006/2007 the deaths were a bit messy. To avoid scrutiny in 2008 suicide seemed to be the way to go. Hey too many suicides now, so in 2009 they became more sophisticated and they went with "accidents".
